New Shows Bring Eagles Fans Closer to the Action Than Ever Before

Eagles Pregame Live Broadcasts Return to Xfinity! Live for all home Games

PHILADELPHIA- (September 3, 2014) – Comcast SportsNet, the cable home of the Philadelphia Eagles, provides Eagles fans with more news, insight and expert analysis than ever before with 10 football-centric shows, the most in Comcast SportsNet’s history and the most of any news outlet. Throughout the season, Comcast SportsNet’s Eagles’ coverage includes daily reports with live player interviews, press conferences and practice highlights. Extensive stories, interviews and videos from the network’s Eagles Insiders and columnists can also be found on CSNPhilly.com.

Comcast SportsNet debuts two new football-focused programs this Fall, with “Quick Slants” airing weekdays at 6 p.m. during football season, and “End Game,” airing after every “Eagles Postgame Live” program. Both shows debut next week.

QUICK SLANTS – NEW!

“Quick Slants” will air weekdays at 6 p.m., and will feature discussions on the top stories around the league, centering on the NFC and the Philadelphia Eagles. “Quick Slants” with Derrick Gunn and Reuben Frank, will also feature national football experts from NBC Sports and “ProFootball Talk,” as well as social media integration through Facebook and Twitter.

END GAME – NEW!

New this year is “End Game,” which follows every “Eagles Postgame Live” program throughout the season. Hosted by John Clark, and featuring John Gonzalez and Brian Westbrook, “End Game” is a heavily social-media-influenced program that instantly reacts to what fans are saying. “End Game” will debut on Sunday, September 7 following the Eagles-Jaguars game.

EAGLES PREGAME LIVE

Hosted by Michael Barkann, “Eagles Pregame Live presented by Esurance” features an entertaining and informative panel including NFL Hall of Fame writer Ray Didinger and former Philadelphia Eagle Brian Westbrook. Derrick Gunn and CSNPhilly.com’s Geoff Mosher report from the field each week. “Eagles Pregame Live” will broadcast live from Xfinity! Live in South Philadelphia one hour prior to every home game throughout the season. Fans are encouraged to stop by to watch the program live.

IN-GAME LIVE

Fans can get more inside access to each Eagles game through CSNPhilly.com’s multifaceted second-screen experience, “In-Game Live.” Viewers have access to game statistics and play-by-play but also incoming tweets from Comcast SportsNet’s Insiders. Plus fans can watch quarterly live video reports with Michael Barkann, Ray Didinger and Brian Westbrook during every Eagles game.

EAGLES POSTGAME LIVE

“Eagles Postgame Live presented by Cure Auto Insurance” provides Eagles fans with immediate reaction to all games through insightful analysis, lively debate, and player and coaches’ press conferences. “Eagles Postgame Live” features Michael Barkann, Brian Westbrook, Ray Didinger, former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell, Derrick Gunn and Geoff Mosher.

CHIP CHAT

Tune in each Monday at Noon to hear from Eagles’ head coach Chip Kelly as he addresses the media in his day-after press conference. Neil Hartman hosts “Chit Chat” each Monday at Noon after most games.

EAGLES EXTRA

Comcast SportsNet and the Eagles deliver fans a hard-hitting weekly football show, “Eagles Extra presented by Acme.” This 30-minute program looks back at the previous game and previews next week’s matchup with a host of experts including former Eagle Jamaal Jackson, along with CSNPhilly.com’s Geoff Mosher and Ray Didinger. “Eagles Extra,” hosted by Ron Burke, will air on Comcast SportsNet every Monday at 6:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.

EAGLES LOCKER ROOM

Comcast SportsNet will air highlights from the Eagles’ Wednesday press conferences on “Eagles Locker Room.” Expected to speak each week are Chip Kelly and Nick Foles. Hosted by Neil Hartman, “Eagles Locker Room” will air on Comcast SportsNet every Wednesday at 11 p.m.

PHILLY SPORTS TALK

“Philly Sports Talk presented by Comcast Business Class, features entertaining debate on the state of the Philadelphia Eagles with the help of former players, plus local and national football experts. Regularly scheduled guests include: former Eagles Jamaal Jackson, Quentin Mikell, Barrett Brooks and Ike Reese, PhiladelphiaEagles.com’s Dave Spadaro, Eagles beat writers Jeff McLane and Zach Berman, and CSNPhilly.com’s Geoff Mosher and Reuben Frank.
