STAMFORD, Conn. – December 22, 2022 – NBC Sports presents the “Festive Fixtures” this holiday season, featuring matches on 10 of 11 days, as the Premier League returns from its FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ break beginning on Boxing Day, Monday, Dec. 26.
“Festive Fixtures” kicks off with NBC Sports’ Premier League studio team of Rebecca Lowe, Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe and Tim Howard traveling to the U.K. to host special shows from pitch-side desks next week from Monday, Dec. 26-Wednesday, Dec. 28. Click here for details.
On Boxing Day, coverage begins at 7 a.m. ET with Premier League Mornings on USA Network, followed by Tottenham visiting Brentford at 7:30 a.m. ET (USA Network, Universo). Four matches will take place live at 10 a.m. ET: Leicester City v. Newcastle (USA Network, Universo), Everton v. Wolverhampton Wanderers (Peacock), Crystal Palace v. Fulham (Peacock), and Southampton v. Brighton & Hove Albion (Peacock). At 12:30 p.m. ET, Liverpool visit Aston Villa on USA Network and Universo.
Concluding Monday’s Boxing Day action is first-place Arsenal hosting West Ham at 3 p.m. ET on Peacock. NBC Sports’ match commentary team of Peter Drury and Graeme Le Saux will call the match live from Emirates Stadium. Peacock will also present Arsenal-West Ham live in Spanish. Following the match is Goal Zone at 5 p.m. ET on USA Network.
Tuesday’s coverage begins at Noon ET on USA Network with Lowe, Earle, Mustoe, and Howard hosting Premier League Live from Old Trafford, followed by Chelsea hosting Bournemouth at 12:30 p.m. ET (USA Network, Universo). At 3 p.m. ET, Manchester United host Nottingham Forest on USA Network and Universo. Drury, Lee Dixon, and Le Saux will call the match live from Old Trafford.
The matchweek concludes on Wednesday, Dec. 28, with live on-site coverage from Elland Road beginning with Premier League Live at 2 p.m. ET on USA Network. At 3 p.m. ET, Jesse Marsch and Leeds United host PL leading goal-scorer Erling Haaland and second-place Manchester City on USA Network and Universo. Joe Speight, Dixon and Le Saux will call the action live from Elland Road.
Next weekend’s matches are headlined by Brighton & Hove Albion hosting first-place Arsenal on Saturday, Dec. 31 at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC, Peacock and Universo. Then at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC, THE MEN IN BLAZERS SHOW, hosted by Roger Bennett and Michael Davies, returns with a new episode.
“Festive Fixtures” concludes the following week with matches from Monday, Jan.2 - Thursday, Jan. 5. Highlighting the midweek slate is Arsenal hosting third-place Newcastle on Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 2:45 p.m. ET on USA Network and Universo and PL leading goal-scorer Erling Haaland and second-place Manchester City visiting Christian Pulisic and Chelsea on Thursday, Jan. 5 at 3 p.m. ET on Peacock.
This season, Peacock will once again stream all games airing on the NBC broadcast network live. In addition, Peacock will feature studio shows, full match replays and the Premier League TV channel. All matchdays and windows exclusively on Peacock will feature NBC Sports’ Premier League studio coverage.
