STAMFORD, Conn. – March 13, 2018 – NBC Olympics’ record-setting coverage of the 2018 Paralympic Games from PyeongChang, South Korea, continues this week with live coverage of the men’s sled hockey gold medal match; the debut of men’s and women’s banked slalom at the Paralympic Games; biathlon coverage on Thursday; and coverage of the Closing Ceremony on Sunday.
The following are this week’s highlights of NBC Olympics’ coverage of the 2018 Paralympic Games:
- Biathlon coverage on Thursday, headlined by two-time U.S. gold medalist Kendall Gretsch and Navy Seal veteran Dan Cnossen;
- Coverage of the U.S. men’s sled hockey semifinal on Thursday at 2 p.m. ET on NBCSN, followed by the live gold medal match on Saturday at 11 p.m. ET on NBCSN;

FINAL DAY OF BIATHLON COMPETITION – THURSDAY AT 9 P.M. ET (STREAMING)
Six medals will be awarded on the final day of biathlon competition on Thursday at 9 p.m. ET (streaming), headlined by Americans Kendall Gretsch, who has already won two gold medals in PyeongChang, and Navy Seal veteran Dan Cnossen, who has won three medals at these Games.

MEN’S SLED HOCKEY GOLD MEDAL MATCH – LIVE COVERAGE BEGINS SATURDAY AT 11 P.M. ET ON NBCSN
Coverage of the U.S. men’s sled hockey semifinal begins Thursday at 2 p.m. ET on NBCSN, followed by live coverage of the gold-medal match Saturday at 11 p.m. ET on NBCSN. The U.S. and Canada are expected to contend for gold in a possible rematch of the 2017 World Championships, where the Canadians defeated the Americans, 4-1, to end the U.S.’ streak of major international tournament wins at six.

DEBUT OF MEN’S AND WOMEN’S BANKED SLALOM BEGINS THURSDAY AT 9:30 P.M. ET (STREAMING)
Thursday marks the Paralympic Games debut of men’s and women’s banked slalom, a new snowboarding event at the Games. The U.S. is expected to contend for medals after tallying six snowboarding medals on Sunday. Americans Brenna Huckaby and Mike Schultz won gold in snowboard cross in their Paralympic debuts, while Amy Purdy earned silver.

WHEELCHAIR CURLING GOLD MEDAL GAME – SATURDAY ON OLYMPIC CHANNEL: HOME OF TEAM USA
Live coverage of the wheelchair curling gold medal game begins Saturday at 2 a.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA. Coverage of the bronze medal game can be streamed live on Friday at 8:35 p.m. ET.
The Canadians, skipped by Mark Ideson, are in search of their fourth consecutive Paralympic gold. Canada returns as the gold medal favorite led by three members from its gold-medal team in Sochi, including vice-skip Ina Forrest and Dennis Thiessen.
