STAMFORD, Conn. – May 14, 2020 – NBC Sports’ presentation of the NFL 100: Greatest series, highlighting the greatest games, game changers, and plays over the NFL’s first 100 seasons, continues this weekend on NBC.
This Saturday, May 16, NFL 100: Greatest Games will air at 2 p.m. ET on NBC, followed by the Greatest Game Changers at 4 p.m. ET. On Sunday, NBC broadcasts NFL 100: Greatest Plays at Noon ET.
The Greatest Games features “The Greatest Game Ever Played” between the Baltimore Colts and New York Giants in the 1958 NFL Championship, the 1981 NFC Championship Game between the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys, highlighted by “The Catch” from Joe Montana to Dwight Clark, and more.
The Greatest Game Changers highlights NFL personalities and events with historic influence on the league’s first 100 seasons, including Paul Brown, Pete Rozelle, Al Davis, Bill Walsh, and George Halas.
Franco Harris’ “Immaculate Reception” in 1972, David Tyree’s helmet catch in Super Bowl XLII, and the Tennessee Titans’ “Music City Miracle” in the 1999 AFC Wild Card Game are among the many plays featured in Sunday’s Greatest Plays.
The NFL 100: Greatest series, which was produced by NFL Films and originally aired on NFL Network, was voted upon by an 80-person panel comprised of experts selected by NFL Media and the Associated Press and features interviews with current and former NFL stars and coaches and celebrity fans.
Programming will also stream on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.
