Sometimes fabulous athlete homes can underwhelm, nothing more than a bunch of bathrooms and a fancy kitchen.
That’s not the case for former Phillies outfielder Gregg Jefferies, whose former outlandish South Jersey home is back on the market at a cool $2.495 million asking price, the Philadelphia Business Journal noted over the weekend.
Jefferies, who spent four seasons with the Phillies and put up a .751 OPS with 37 home runs and 203 RBI, signed a four-year, $20 million deal with the Fightins in 1994 and stayed in town until he was traded to the Angels in 1998.

Jefferies was apparently living well during his time with the Phils. This house, located just 15 miles away from the Stadium Complex in Voorhees, is wild.
The 15,500-square-foot place has six bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a formal dining room, a music study room (?), a beautiful kitchen, and a wine fridge.
It also has a completely bonkers basement featuring a full custom bar, a DJ booth (!), a theater, and a home gym that seems to be located in a minimalist Greek abode.
The backyard is also glorious and extravagant.

An unnamed NBA player reportedly nearly bought the house in the past few weeks, according to the Business Journal.
