Flyers longtime captain Claude Giroux has been traded to the Panthers. Relive his best moments with the orange and black.
Claude Giroux is fitting in seamlessly with the offensive juggernaut Panthers.
Anybody surprised? Nope.
His performance in Florida so far is further validation for why many considered Giroux to be the crown jewel of the NHL trade market last month.

Giroux has put up nine points (one goal, eight assists) through eight games and 19:17 minutes per game with the Panthers. Florida, which was aggressive before the deadline, has gone 7-1-0 since acquiring Giroux from the Flyers in a trade last month.
Over that stretch, the Panthers have scored 4.88 goals per game while allowing 3.75.
That's some high-scoring hockey.

In two of its last three games, Florida has erased four-goal deficits for 7-6 overtime victories. In the Panthers' 7-6 decision Tuesday night over the Maple Leafs, Giroux scored his first goal with his new team and collected an assist.
Mike Yeo was asked if he gets a chance to occasionally read about or watch how Giroux is doing in Florida.
"I peek in, for sure," the Flyers' interim head coach said Wednesday. "Usually when they're scoring about eight or nine goals a game, I'm checking to see if he's had any assists or goals or was a part of them.
"I'm happy for him. Obviously a pretty exciting team. You look at their last couple of wins, the way that they're able to come back from deficits like that, they're a high-powered team and no question that he adds to that."
