The Eagles won’t be in the playoffs this year, but a whole bunch of their former players and coaches are.
Ten of the 14 teams in the postseason have at least one coach who spent time with the Eagles and seven of the 14 have a head coach who coached here.
And 11 of the teams that reached the playoffs have at least one former Eagles player on the roster.

Here’s a look at every former Eagles player on a playoff roster this year. Tomorrow, we’ll take a look at all the head coaches and assistants with Eagles ties who are in the Super Bowl tournament.
Colts
Tight end Trey Burton: Spent 2014 through 2017 with the Eagles. Caught 63 passes for 629 yards and 6 TDs. Threw Philly Special touchdown pass to Nick Foles in Super Bowl LII. Had 28-for-250 and three TDs this year.
Cornerback Tremon Smith: Was on Eagles’ practice squad the last month of 2019 and remained with the Eagles until this past July. Played in 10 games for the Colts this year, mainly on special teams.
NFL
Tight end Noah Togiai: Spent this past training camp with the Eagles as an undrafted rookie before getting released as part of final cuts. Has been with the Colts all year and played in four games without a catch.
Bills
Quarterback Matt Barkley: Eagles’ 4th-round pick in 2013. Threw 49 passes in four games with the Eagles in 2013 and 2014 (0 TDs, 4 INTs). Also spent time with the Cards, Bears, 49ers and Bengals before joining Bills in 2013. Played sparingly behind Josh Allen but did throw a 56-yard TD pass to Gabriel Davis last week against the Dolphins.
Safety Jordan Poyer: Eagles’ 7th-round pick in that same 2013 draft. Played in three games for Eagles as a rookie before Browns signed him off Eagles’ practice squad. Has 13 interceptions in four seasons as a starter with the Bills.

Buccaneers
Running back LeSean McCoy: Six-time Pro Bowler and leading rusher in Eagles history with 6,792 yards rarely plays these days for the Bucs.
Running back Kenjon Barner [IR]: Spent 2014 through 2017 with the Eagles. Averaged 4.4 yards on 71 carries, caught 19 passes and averaged 24.1 yards on kick returns and 8.6 yards on punt returns. Averaged 23.9 yards on kick returns this year.
Center A.Q. Shipley [IR]: Spent all of 2010 on the Eagles’ practice squad and was with the Eagles until the end of training camp in 2011.
Washington Football Team
Cornerback Ronald Darby: Acquired from the Bills for Jordan Matthews during 2017 training camp and started on Super Bowl-championship team. Had six INTs in three years with the Eagles. Didn’t have any this year.
Mychal Kendricks: Eagles’ 2nd-round draft pick in 2012 spent six years here and started 74 games. Final game as an Eagle was Super Bowl. Spent 2018 and 2019 with Seahawks and has played just one game this year for Washington.
Cornerback Jeremy Reaves: Spent all of the offseason and training camp 2018 with the Eagles before getting cut at the end of the preseason and signing with Washington.
Defensive end Casey Toohill: Eagles’ 7th-round pick this year. Played for Eagles against Rams. Eagles tried to waive him through to the practice squad but Washington claimed him. Has played in Washington’s last seven games.
Ravens
Linebacker L.J. Fort: Played in first four games of the 2019 season for the Eagles before getting cut and signing with Baltimore. Has started 16 games since joining the Ravens.
Titans
Offensive lineman Dennis Kelly: Eagles’ 5th-round draft pick in 2012. Spent three seasons with Eagles, starting 15 games, before getting traded for Dorial Green-Beckham during 2016 training camp. Now in his 9th NFL season, started all 16 games for the first time in his career.
Marcus Johnson [PS]: Made Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2017 and caught 5-for-45 in 10 games, earning a Super Bowl ring. Spent three years with the Colts – had a 108-yard game against the Bengals earlier this year – but was cut last week and signed to the Titans’ practice squad.
Bears
Wide receiver DeAndre Carter: Began career as undrafted rookie with Eagles in 2018. Played in 10 games, catching 10 passes. Was waived by the Texans in November and claimed by the Bears. Has played in Chicago’s last four games.
Quarterback Nick Foles: Eagles’ 3rd-round draft pick in 2012, Pro Bowl quarterback in 2013 and Super Bowl MVP in 2017. Went 2-5 with 10 TDs and 8 INTs this year. Has 25-12 record with Eagles, 7-16 with Rams, Chiefs, Broncos and Bears.
Saints
Safety Malcolm Jenkins: Made three Pro Bowls and won a Super Bowl in his six years with the Eagles before returning to the Saints this year. Tied career highs with 3 INTs and 2 ½ sacks this year.
Cornerback Patrick Robinson: Only spent 2017 with the Eagles but had outstanding season with four INTs plus a pick-6 to turn around the NFC Championship Game against the Vikings. Had two INTs this year.
Browns
Kicker Cody Parkey: Spent first two seasons with the Eagles in 2014 and 2015. Made Pro Bowl in 2014, when he made 32 of 36 field goals and set an NFL rookie scoring record with 150 points. His double-doink miss with the Bears in 2018 gave the Eagles their last playoff win. Made 19 of 22 field goals this year.
Quarterback Kyle Lauletta [PS]: Spent 2019 on Eagles’ practice squad.
Safety Andrew Sendejo [C-19]: Played nine games for the Eagles last year before getting cut. Started 14 games this year before landing on the COVID list.
Steelers
Offensive tackle Alejandro Villaneuva: After decorated career as an Army Ranger, spent the summer of 2014 in Eagles training camp as a defensive end. Was released and signed with Steelers, who moved him to offensive tackle. Made 2017 and 2018 Pro Bowls.
Running back Wendell Smallwood [PS]: Eagles’ 5th-round pick in 2016. Rushed for 850 yards and 4.0 average and caught 47 passes in three years with Eagles. Has played in one game this year, only on special teams.
Cornerback Trevor Williams [PS]: Began season with Eagles and played two games, including 32 snaps vs. Bengals. Was released, spent time with Jaguars, was released and signed to Steelers’ practice squad.
Chiefs

Packers
Cornerback Chandon Sullivan: Began career with Eagles in 2018 as an undrafted rookie free agent. Played in five games before getting released. Started 10 games this year for the Packers and had one INT.
Anthony Rush [PS]: Played in nine games for the Eagles last year as an undrafted rookie. Has been with Eagles, Raiders, Bears, Seahawks and Packers since Week 5 of last year.
