Gunn-on-One: ‘Money will take care of itself' for Nelson Agholor in contract year

Share

Whenever Nelson Agholor has been asked about this being a money year for him, his response has stayed the same.

“The money will take care of itself, for me it’s about consistency,” Agholor said.

He spent part of this summer working out with Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss, and he has been soaking up as much knowledge as possible from Alshon Jeffery (possession pass catcher) and speed merchant DeSean Jackson.

It’s still early in training camp, but Nelson has looked stronger and faster. When the discussion arises about who will lead the Eagles in receptions this season, no one mentions his name. But don’t overlook the possibility of Agholor racking up more receptions than his 2018 career-high of 64, and even being the team leader in that category if things go his way.

On Tuesday, he had his best session of camp.  After practice, I went Gunn-on-One with No. 13 after he gave his secondary fits in practice.
