Many in the sports world were hit hard with the loss of Nipsey Hussle after the rapper was murdered in March. Perhaps none more so than Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson.
Jackson and Hussle grew up together in California and were childhood friends.
DeSean wore a pair of custom-made cleats during warmups on Sunday prior to the Eagles' game against the Washington Redskins at the Linc. One cleat had an image of Nipsey on it while the other had the words "rest in paradise" written on it.

Jackson had shared images of different cleats that paid homage to Nipsey after his passing. Perhaps we'll see those later in the season.
It's safe to say DeSean is excited to play in Philly today.
