2020 NFL odds: Time to put down cash if you think Jalen Reagor (or Hurts) can win ROY

If you have a lot of faith in first-round pick Jalen Reagor you might have the chance to line your pockets with some cash.

For the upcoming 2020 season, Reagor is a relative long shot to win Offensive Rookie of the Year, at +2000 ($100 wins $2,000), according to DraftKings.

So Reagor has longer odds than 11 other players, concluding the three receivers (Jerry Jeudy +1400, CeeDee Lamb +1800 and Henry Ruggs III +1800) drafted ahead of him.

It should be no surprise that No. 1 overall pick Joe Burrow has been established as a heavy favorite:

Joe Burrow: +215
Clyde Edwards-Helaire: +550
Tua Tagovailoa: +700
Jonathan Taylor: +1000
D’Andre Swift: +1200
Jerry Jeudy: +1400}
J.K. Dobbins: +1600
Justin Herbert: +1600
CeeDee Lamb: +1800
Henry Ruggs III: +1800
Cam Akers: +2000
Jalen Reagor: +2000
Justin Jefferson: +2500
Ke’Shawn Vaugh: +2500
Brandon Aiyuk: +3300
A.J. Dillon: +4000

You can check out the full list here.

And if you really want to take a long shot, Jalen Hurts is at +8000. If you don't think Carson Wentz can stay healthy, maybe there's a scenario where Hurts comes in and the second-round pick lights it up.

Reagor should at least have a chance to play quite a bit in his rookie season. While DeSean Jackson is expected to be ready for the season, Alshon Jeffery’s health status is up in the air and after that, Philadelphia's top returning receivers are J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Greg Ward Jr.

Maybe Reagor isn’t the most pro-ready receiver in the bunch but he’s on a team that will allow a lot of opportunity.

A receiver hasn’t won Offensive Rookie of the Year since Odell Beckham Jr. in 2014. As a rookie, OBJ was a Pro Bowler and caught 91 passes for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns. It’s hard to imagine Reagor having that type of season. And Beckham is the only receiver to win the award in the last 10 seasons; it has gone to a quarterback five times and a running back four times in the last decade.
