T.J. Oshie lined up, just like in his epic shootout at the Sochi Olympics, and took the puck toward the net. Only this time, Jeremy Roenick played goalie.
As he skated toward Roenick, Oshie discussed his role in the U.S.-Russia shootout in February.
The shootout was tied after three skaters each, and U.S. coach Dan Bylsma chose Oshie five straight times in sudden death, until Oshie buried the winner in the eighth round.
