French officials will decide whether to move forward or stop a Paris 2024 Olympic bid along with releasing results of a feasibility study Feb. 12, according to French reports and Around the Rings.
If it bids, Paris would hope to become the second city to host a Summer Olympics three times, following London. Paris also held the 1900 and 1924 Olympics, which means hosting in 2024 would mark the 100-year anniversary of its last Games.
Paris lost in bidding for the 1992, 2008 and 2012 Olympics.
Boston, Rome and Berlin or Hamburg are confirmed bids so far. The deadline to submit a bid is September.
The 2024 host city will be chosen in 2017.
