Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green accepted an invitation to play for the U.S. Olympic team in Rio, according to ESPN.com.

Green would be the second player to disclose that he will be on the Olympic team, joining Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins.

Green, 26, would head to his first Olympics after a breakout NBA season, where he made his first All-Star team, set career highs in nearly every major statistical category and helped the Golden State Warriors to a second straight NBA Finals appearance. They fell to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the deciding game Sunday night.

The complete 12-man U.S. Olympic team is expected to be announced by next Monday.

Eight of the 31 finalists have already withdrawn from consideration.
