The New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins will go head-to-head at MSG tonight. Both teams will be looking to build off their performances on Saturday.
The Penguins got five points from Phil Kessel and Nick Bonino in yesterday’s 7-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings. The Rangers had a solid effort in a 5-2 win over Montreal.
The Rangers, who currently sit in second place in the Metropolitan Division, have a four-point lead on third place Pittsburgh, but the Penguins have a game in hand. Tonight’s game could go a long way in determining who will get home ice advantage in the opening round of the playoffs.
