After spending part of the 2014-15 season with the Columbus Blue Jackets, it appears Jack Skille is headed to Colorado.
According to Mike Chambers of The Denver Post, Skille, who has been taking part in informal skates with Avs’ players, could join Colorado for training camp on a professional tryout.
The former first-round pick of the Chicago Blackhawks (7th overall in 2005) appeared in 45 games with the Blue Jackets last season scoring six goals and two assists.
Skille has appeared in 239 career NHL games with the Blackhawks, Panthers and Jackets scoring 30 goals and 61 points.
