Winnipeg forward Evander Kane underwent successful surgery on his left foot today to remove pressure from a nerve, the club announced today.
Kane’s recovery period is expected to be 4-6 weeks, meaning he should be ready to go for training camp.
It was previously reported Kane would not require offseason surgery for the nerve issue in his foot. He also had a problem with his wrist.
The 21-year-old had 33 points in 48 games in 2013.
