  • NE Defensive End #45

Chaisson turned his career around in his one-off season with the Raiders last year, tying his career-high in quarterback pressures (29) and setting a career-high in sacks (six). Chaisson should continue to play well under Mike Vrabel’s tutelage in New England.
  • FA Quarterback #15
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport comically notes that Minshew “still has guaranteed money coming from” his contract with the Raiders. This is a great spot for Minshew. The 28-year-old journeyman will get to learn from Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes before rolling the dice in free agency one year from now. It would be unsurprising to see Minshew get one more chance at a starting job in 2026. Until then, we can hope for a Week 18 spot-start as Mahomes rests ahead of the playoffs.
  • WAS Defensive Back #9
Igbinoghene manned the slot for the Commanders last year but earned just a 49.6 PFF coverage grade. Igbinoghene will likely serve as an inside-outside backup defensive back, with recent free agent-signee CB Jonathan Jones penciled in as the team’s slot defensive back starter.
  • FA Center #46
Pepper had one year remaining on his deal but earned a career-worst 39.8 PFF special teams grade in 2024. NBC Houston’s Aaron Wilson reports that the 49ers “are legitimately interested” in former Texans C/LS Jon Weeks, who is 39 years old. He earned Pro Bowl honors in 2015.
  • MIN Tackle #77
Skule served as a backup swing tackle for the Buccaneers. He earned a 66.4 PFF pass-blocking grade and a 68.9 PFF run-blocking grade on 361 offensive snaps. Not bad for a backup. Beat reporter Alec Lewis notes, LT Christian Darrisaw suffered a torn ACL in Week 8. Signing Skule gives them an above-average backup, in case Darrisaw needs to manage his reps early in the year.
  • PHI Cornerback #21
Jackson remains a capable coverage defender at age 29. He should be expected to compete for the No. 2 perimeter cornerback role opposite Quinyon Mitchell. Jackson recorded five pass breakups and 24 tackles in 2024, en route to a 64.5 PFF coverage grade.
  • WAS Tackle #73
Although primarily a reserve/swing tackle, 31-year-old Scott actually spent the NFC Championship Game at right guard. It’s that experience and versatility keeping Scott around for another year in the nation’s capital. Signing at this stage of the offseason should hint at a safe 53-man roster position.
  • PIT Wide Receiver #15
Skowronek caught five passes for 69 yards with the Steelers last season while playing in a very limited role. Skowronek’s 46 routes run and five targets marked the second fewest amongst any receiver on the team in 2024. He could be a long-shot to make the roster this upcoming season.
  • MIN Center #56
As Pelissero notes, the Vikings “signed veteran Ryan Kelly to replace Bradbury, a first-round pick in 2019 who started 88 games in Minnesota.” Earlier today, FOX Sports’ Brock Huard reported that Sam Darnold “loved” playing with Bradbury during his 2024 run with the Vikings. Huard expects Bradbury’s likely trade cost to be a sixth- or seventh-round pick. Perhaps, this is the Vikings’ way of asking the Seahawks for at least some sort of mild compensation. Seattle must upgrade its interior blocking personnel before the 2025 season kicks off.
  • CLE Quarterback #7
With All-Pro confidence, Pickett, who was recently acquired from the Eagles, said he’ll be ready to “compete with whoever” the Browns bring in at quarterback this offseason. The former first-rounder threw for 291-2-1 in limited action with the Eagles last season, with his most notable game coming in a Week 17 outing against the Cowboys. Pickett got the start against a woeful defense and threw for 143-1-0 on 15 pass attempts while also rushing for a score. He’ll almost certainly get a chance to compete for the Browns’ QB1 job this offseason, but if they take a quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick next month, Pickett won’t be long for a starting job at his new home.
