  • ARI Wide Receiver #14
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Cardinals WR Michael Wilson (shoulder) suffered a setback and will not play in Week 11 against the Texans.
Wilson missed Week 9 with the shoulder issue but returned to action last week. He was not on the injury report this week until being listed as limited on Friday. The Cardinals did not give him a designation heading into the weekend, but it’s clear he suffered the setback on Friday. Arizona likely didn’t determine the extent of the injury until Saturday. Zach Pascal will step onto the field for three-receiver sets in his place. There isn’t much fantasy value to be had with him, but fantasy managers can feel more confident in starting Rondale Moore and Marquise Brown with Wilson out.
  • ARI Wide Receiver #0
Cardinals declared WR Zach Pascal (neck), CB Antonio Hamilton, S Qwuantrezz Knight, LB Jesse Luketa, OL Carter O’Donnell, S Jalen Thompson, and OL Elijah Wilkinson inactive for Week 7 against the Seahawks.
None of the inactives come as much of a surprise. With Pascal continuing to be out, there should remain opportunities for rookie wide receiver Michael Wilson, who remains an WR4 due to his inconsistent usage.
  • ARI Wide Receiver #0
Cardinals WR Zach Pascal is questionable for Week 7 against the Seahawks.
Pascal has fallen out of favor in Arizona with the emergence of rookie wide receiver Michael Wilson. Wilson and Pascal share similar qualities, making the latter relatively obsolete in the run-first Cardinals offense.
  • ARI Wide Receiver #0
Cardinals WR Zach Pascal (neck) did not participate in practice Wednesday.
Pascal has just four receptions on the season, losing snaps to rookie Michael Wilson. He now misses the first practice of the week with a neck issue. In an offense getting Kyler Murray back soon, Wilson now stands to benefit from any time Pascal misses.
  • ARI Wide Receiver #0
Cardinals signed WR Zach Pascal, formerly of the Eagles, to a two-year contract.
Pascal reunites with head coach Jonathan Gannon after the two spent last season together in Philly. Despite appearing in all 17 games last year, Pascal posted career lows in receptions (15) and receiving yards (150), while finding the end zone just once. His signing with the Cardinals probably has more to do with his special teams prowess than it does his offensive production.

  • LAC Wide Receiver #89
Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said Jalen Reagor is “battling for a spot” in camp.
Sirianni added that Reagor has played well with the second team and is battling for the WR4 spot. Also in contention for that gig are Zach Pascal and Greg Ward, though the latter only plays in the slot. Reagor has been the subject of trade rumors throughout the offseason. Given his lack of production since the Eagles selected him with the 21st overall pick, it’s likely that they haven’t received any notable offers. Reagor has caught 64 passes for 695 yards in 28 career games.

  • ARI Wide Receiver #0
Eagles signed WR Zach Pascal, formerly of the Colts, to a one-year contract.
Pascal is reuniting with Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni, who worked as the Colts’ offensive coordinator from 2018 to 2020. He joins a Philadelphia team absolutely desperate for capable receivers. Rookie wideout DeVonta Smith led the team with 916 receiving yards last year and was the only receiver on the team opposing defenses had to worry about. Pascal isn’t a stud by any means, but he could step in as the team’s WR3. He topped 600 yards in consecutive seasons under Sirianni but struggled in 2021, reaching just 384 yards at 5.6 yards per target. The signing gives the Eagles some depth but it won’t dissuade them from using one of their three first-round picks on a receiver.

  • ARI Wide Receiver #0
ESPN’s Mike Wells doesn’t expect the Colts to re-sign WR Zach Pascal.
Pascal started 40 games for the Colts the last three years. The impending free agent is coming off his worst season since 2018, posting a 38/384/3 line on 69 targets despite T.Y. Hilton missing most of the season on IR. Even with Hilton considering retirement, 27-year-old Pascal is unlikely to be back with the Colts.

  • FA Wide Receiver #16
T.Y. Hilton caught 2-of-2 targets for 22 yards in Indianapolis’ Week 13 win over the Texans.
The Colts never really needed to stretch the field, so they didn’t. Zach Pascal (1/6, three targets) was similarly scripted out of the game by Houston’s ineptitude, and Ashton Dulin (1/2, touchdown in one target) was the only Colts receiver to find the end zone. Bigger asks are ahead as the Colts got right heading into their Week 14 bye.

  • ARI Wide Receiver #0
Zach Pascal caught both of his targets for nine yards in Week 10 againt Jacksonville.
Pascal’s targets took a hit with T.Y. Hilton returning. He still ran 34 routes and played 89% of snaps. Pascal’s role in two-wide sets looks safe, but he won’t be a recommended WR4 for a Week 11 matchup with Buffalo.
