Browns OT Jedrick Wills (knee) will not play in Week 8 against the Ravens.
Wills suffered a season-ending knee injury last year and missed a few games at the start of this season while recovering. He returned in Week 3, re-aggravated the issue and missed another game, but was back in action once again for Week 5. At this point, the Browns may need to sit him for an extended period of time. Right guard Wyatt Teller is listed as questionable.

Browns activated G Wyatt Teller (knee) off injured reserve.
A Pro Bowl guard, Teller could return to the Browns starting lineup as soon as Week 8 against the Ravens. Teller was the team’s best run-blocking offensive lineman before his Week 3 injury against the Giants. Teller’s return should be a boost for Nick Chubb and the Browns’ rushing attack.

Browns placed G Wyatt Teller (knee) on injured reserve.
Teller will be required to miss at least the next four games, putting him on track for a Week 8 return against the Ravens if all goes well. The Browns guard was diagnosed with a sprained MCL following their Week 3 loss to the Giants and has been their best run-blocking guard this season, per PFF. Rookie Zak Zinter is expected to start in place of Teller, who is just one several starting offensive lineman the Browns have injured.
  • CLE Guard #77
Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said G Wyatt Teller (knee) will miss “multiple weeks” with a sprained MCL and is a candidate for injured reserve.
Teller has been Cleveland’s best run-blocking guard this year, even if he hasn’t been up to his 2020-2021 vintage in a bit as far as PFF grades go. He exited after 33 snaps in Week 3 and could be looking at an extended absence. Rookie fourth-rounder Zak Zinter looks to be in line to start in his place. Things aren’t getting any easier for the Cleveland offense after a rough three weeks to open the year.

Browns RG Wyatt Teller (calf) was removed from the Week 13 injury report and will play against the Rams.
Teller hasn’t missed a game or even a snap this year despite dealing with ankle and calf injuries. He sat out of Wednesday’s practice but was on the field for the following two sessions before being cleared. Expect a similar practice regimen for the veteran guard for at least the next few weeks.

Browns RG Wyatt Teller (calf) did not practice Wednesday.
Teller has been listed with calf and ankle issues on a number of injury reports this year. He has played through the injuries in every game, failing to miss a single snap on offense this year. We will assume the iron man’s season will continue unimpeded by the calf issue unless Kevin Stefanski tells us otherwise.
  • CLE Tackle #79
Browns RT Dawand Jones (knee/shoulder) is questionable for Week 11 against the Steelers.
Jones returned to practice on Thursday and looks like a good bet to play this week. Right guard Wyatt Teller also missed practice on Wednesday before returning to action the following day. Though getting both on the field for Week 11 would still leave the Browns’ line at less than full strength, it would be a big win for Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who is slated to make his second start of the season.

Browns RG Wyatt Teller (calf) did not practice Wednesday.
Offensive tackle Dawand Jones was spotted on a bike at practice, suggesting he was also a DNP. Teller suffered his calf injury in Week 10 and was unable to return. The Browns are likely down multiple starting offensive linemen for Week 11. That will only compound the issue of Dorian Thompson-Robinson being thrust into the starting lineup once again.

Browns RG Wyatt Teller (calf) left Week 10’s game against the Dolphins and did not return.
Teller told reporters that he was in tears on the sideline because he wanted to be out there. Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said he “just wasn’t himself” so they didn’t feel like they could put him back out there. It looks likely that Teller will be missing more time in future weeks.

  • CLE Guard #77
Browns ruled out OG Wyatt Teller for Week 8 against the Bengals.
Teller is one of the league’s top-rated run-blocking guards, leaving a significant gap in the interior of the offensive line. That is especially true against a Bengals defense allowing just 17.9 PPR points per game to opposing backfields, second fewest in the league. Consider Teller’s absence a slight ding to the expectations of both Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt for Week 8.
