    Kansas City will likely attempt to re-sign Kershaw to the practice squad if he clears waivers. Kershaw was previously MLB Napoleon Harris’ backup.

    Texans signed LB William Kershaw off the Eagles’ practice squad.
    Kershaw was an outside linebacker at Maryland, but went undrafted in 2006 and has been looked at as an inside ‘backer by teams in the pros. He’s big and will help on special teams for Houston initially.

    Texans waived LB William Kershaw and promoted DT Tim Bulman from the practice squad on Wednesday.
    Kershaw was signed off the Eagles practice squad in November, but the Texans waived him for Bulman, who played in eight games in 2005 with the Cardinals.

    Brewster signed a futures deal only a month ago. Kershaw, a well built inside linebacker out of Maryland, will try to earn a roster spot behind D.J. Williams.

    Kershaw has bounced around the league for the past few seasons; he’s a practice body. The Dolphins also cut ties with DE Rodrique Wright, WR Brandon London, and S Courtney Bryan.

    The South Florida Sun-Sentinel suggests that the move may indicate concern about the health of starting ILB Channing Crowder, who has been battling an ankle injury. Crowder underwent an MRI immediately after Sunday’s loss.

    Saints waived WR/PR Skyler Green, DL Orien Harris, OL Tim Duckworth, LB Jo-Lonn Dunbar, RB Lynell Hamilton, LB Will Kershaw, and WR Joe West.
    They’re keeping Jason David on the roster, which Saints fans can’t like. Harris played well in camp and could be back if he goes unclaimed.

    Kershaw spent a portion of the 2008 offseason with the Broncos before being waived in April. Harris spent the 2007 season with the Dolphins.
