  • DEN Tackle #78
Colorado sophomore T Will Sherman has added 25 pounds this offseason.
Sherman (6'3/210) was only 250 pounds when he stepped into the program, so it’s been quite the transformation. Sherman was expected to play guard, but he ended up starting nine games at left tackle in 2018 as a freshman and he didn’t miss a single snap. Sherman is on track to be a draft prospect with experience as a freshman.
  • DEN Tackle #78
    Colorado signed three-star 2017 G Will Sherman.
Sherman was on the Colorado bandwagon even before they took off like a rocket ship in 2016, as he committed to their cause in late July. While the 6-foot-3, 295-pounder played tackle at Allen High School (Texas), expect him to shift to guard come the start of his collegiate career with Colorado. Scout.com’s Greg Powers notes that he possesses a “quickness off of the ball [which] allows him to get great positioning,” adding that Sherman “runs the field well and pulls well.” Powers also likes that Sherman has been tested against top-flight competition throughout high school.

At the Opening Regional in Dallas, high school G Will Sherman “showed a polish that very few others in attendance could match,” according to 247Sports’ Barton Simmons.
Sherman is unranked nationally according to 247Sports’ consensus, but that might change with his strong performance in the Dallas camp. Per Simmons, the 6-foot-3, 295-pounder “did well in the Final 5 one-on-one battles,” where he showcased that surprising polish. “Hailing from Allen High School where he was overshadowed by [eventual Ole Miss signee] Gregory Little last fall, he looks poised to make a name for himself,” Simmons concluded.
