Patriots waived S Vincent Fuller and promoted DE Alex Silvestro and DB Sterling Moore from their practice squad.
Moore has the versatility New England values with the ability to play both corner and safety. Silvestro is an undrafted rookie. Fuller was signed just a few days ago. He must have not looked very good in the practice field.
  • NE Defensive Back
Lions placed S Vincent Fuller (elbow) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Fuller was signed in early October, quickly got injured, and wound up appearing in one game without a tackle. Chris Harris has taken his roster spot.

    Patriots signed S Vincent Fuller.
Fuller was released from the Lions with an injury settlement earlier this month. He’ll be a special teamer and secondary depth for the Pats. ESPN’s Mike Reiss notes that New England’s senior football adviser, Floyd Reese, was the Titans’ general manager when Floyd was drafted by Tennessee back in 2005.
  • NE Defensive Back
Lions signed S Vincent Fuller, formerly of the Titans.
Fuller is listed as a safety, but he’s always been a slot corner and special teamer. The 29-year-old has a background with Jim Schwartz from their time together in Nashville. He’ll push for snaps behind Eric Wright and Chris Houston.

  • NE Defensive Back
Titans declared safety Vincent Fuller, tailback Damien Nash, tackles Daniel Loper and David Stewart, receiver Courtney Roby, tight end Gregg Guenther, and defensive end Bo Schobel inactive for Sunday’s game.
Matt Mauck will be the team’s emergency quarterback. Fuller, mostly a special teamer, has no tackles in limited action during two games.
  • NE Defensive Back
Titans signed safety Vincent Fuller, a fourth-round pick, to an undisclosed contract.
The former Hokie adds more youth to possibly the youngest (and worst) secondary in football.
  • DET Defensive Back
Calvin Lowry has a good chance to take Lamont Thompson’s starting free safety job this season.
Vincent Fuller is also in contention, but Lowry impressed the coaches as a rookie last season.
