Dolphins placed LB Tyson Bowser on injured reserve.
Bowser is dealing with a knee injury, and the 29-year-old linebacker will miss at least four weeks with the issue. The linebacker will have a chance to return just before the end of the regular season as a rotational piece for their defense.

Dolphins signed LB Tyus Bowser, formerly of the Seahawks.
With Jaelan Phillips (knee) out for the season, the Dolphins claimed Bowser off the Seahawks’ practice squad, adding him to their 53-man roster. Bowser is a seven-year veteran of the league who has tallied 19.5 sacks and 22 TFLs in his career. He’ll likely start off as a situational pass rusher for the Dolphins, and could be active as early as Week 5.
  • SEA Linebacker #54
Seahawks signed LB Tyus Bowser, formerly of the Ravens.
Bowser worked out for the Titans, Colts, and Cowboys before eventually joining the Seahawks. From a scheme standpoint, the Seahawks always felt like the obvious landing spot for Bowser once he started taking his visits. He spent two seasons in Baltimore with current Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald and should have no trouble getting acclimated to the defense in Seattle. Bowser will start on the practice squad but could be elevated anytime.

NFL Insider Adam Caplan reports free agent LB Tyus Bowser is expected to meet with the Seahawks.
Bowser has met with the Colts, Cowboys, and Titans over the last few days and is now scheduled to stop in Seattle. The veteran linebacker was let go by the Ravens earlier this offseason after missing all of 2023 with a knee injury but is now hoping to land on a roster before the start of the season. For his career, Bowser has totaled 19.5 sacks in 89 career games and had seven sacks in 2021. Wherever he lands, Bowser will most likely be used as a situational pass rusher with a chance to earn a bigger role based on how things go.

LB Tyus Bowser, formerly of the Ravens, is visiting the Cowboys.
Bowser missed half the 2022 season and the entire 2023 season while recovering from an Achilles injury. Now 29, Bowser could join a ferocious Dallas pass rush. He had 19.5 sacks and 152 tackles over his six seasons with the Ravens.

The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec reports the Ravens will release LB Tyus Bowser.
The team will save $5.5 million against the cap in 2024 with Bowser’s release. Bowser, 28, spent six seasons with Baltimore, totaling 19.5 sacks and 152 tackles. He missed half of the 2022 season and all of the 2023 season while recovering from a torn Achilles.
  • BAL Running Back #27
Ravens placed J.K. Dobbins on the active/PUP list.
Dobbins can be removed from the PUP list at any time. It’s not clear what Dobbins is dealing with, though it wouldn’t be a surprise for subsequent reports to say he is still working through the knee issues that have plagued him over the past two years. The Ravens also signed Melvin Gordon earlier today, so it’s clear they are prepared to be without Dobbins for at least the start of training camp. Baltimore also placed FB Patrick Ricard, WR Mike Thomas, CB Pepe Williams, and DT Rayshad Nichols on the PUP list. Linebacker Tyus Bowser was placed on the NFI list.

Ravens activated Tyus Bowser (Achilles) from injured reserve.
Bowser returned to practice on October 12th and could have a chance to suit up for the team’s Week 9 matchup against the Saints. Bowser, who led the Ravens with seven sacks and eight TFLs in 2021 suffered a torn Achilles in the Ravens’ Week 18 matchup against the Steelers last season.

Ravens EDGE Tyus Bowser (Achilles) is returning to practice.
Coming back from a 2021 Achilles injury, Bowser -- who led Baltimore in sacks last season -- could be close to returning to game action. He’s been on the reserve/PUP list since late August. Bowser would be a much-needed addition for a Ravens defense that has struggled to stop opposing offenses for much of this season.

  • MIA Linebacker #51
Ravens placed EDGE Tyus Bowser (Achilles) on the reserve/PUP list.
The move means Bowser will miss at least the first four weeks of the season. Bowser suffered the injury in Week 18 of the 2021 season. Early comments from John Harbaugh had him on pace to return for training camp, though that was clearly too optimistic. Bowser started all 17 games for the Ravens last year, notching seven sacks and eight TFLs.
