The Jets are only calling it a “leg” injury, but Teague is out for this minicamp and possibly much longer. Rookie first-rounder Nick Mangold may have the edge for the starting job now.

It looks like Jets coach Eric Mangini still has a few things to learn in the injury cover-up department. While the Jets won’t confirm the news, this could keep Teague out into the regular season and should guarantee first-round pick Nick Mangold a starting job in Week 1.

Ross Tucker will play.

Teague says he isn’t sure when he’ll be able to play next week.

He didn’t return. Buffalo’s losses on the O-line really hurt them in their final drive.

The starter has missed four games with a broken bone in his leg.

They’ll give the job to 2005 fourth-rounder Duke Preston.

It’s believed the Jets will sign him to replace Kevin Mawae. He started the past four seasons in Buffalo.
