Bengals selected Georgia C Trey Hill with the No. 190 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Hill (6'4/319) is a massive player for the center position, which makes sense for someone coming from Georgia’s offense. Hill started a handful of games at right guard in 2018 before taking over at the pivot in 2019, earning himself second-team All-SEC honors (AP). Hill started again in 2020, though he did miss the final few games in order to undergo surgery for “minor” injuries to both his knees. As is the case with most Bulldogs OL, Hill plays with some power, both in his explosion off the line of scrimmage and at the point of contact. He does well to dig bodies out of their intended gaps, especially when working down the line on gap concepts. Hill has precious few athletic gifts (2.02 RAS) to speak of, though, which will surely hurt him more at the second level and in pass pro in the NFL. Hill is reminiscent of a lesser Travis Swanson.

Georgia junior C Trey Hill (knee) will miss the rest of the season following knee surgery.
Hill (6'4/330) is a fixture on the UGA offensive line, starting all 36 of the games he has played in since arriving on campus in 2018. The hulking center underwent arthroscopic surgery on both knees which will cost him the remainder of the 2020 season. Still only a junior, he was named to the watch list for the 2020 Rimington Award which is bestowed upon the country’s best center. A pre-season All-SEC selection, he is expected to be back and fully healthy in 2021.

Georgia sophomore OL Trey Hill appears to be the favorite to win the starting center job heading into fall camp.
The Bulldogs do not lack for talent up front, but that doesn’t mean the loss of Lamont Galliard won’t have an impact on the offensive line. According to Chip Towers of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Hill (6'4/330) “appears entrenched” as Galliard’s successor at center. Last season the sophomore filled in for the injured Galliard during Georgia’s win over Kentucky that clinched the SEC East, and he started the last four games of the season at right guard.

Rivals recruiting analyst Chad Simmons passed along that Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Florida and Florida State will likely make the cut when uncommitted four-star G Trey Hill releases his top-10.
Hill, himself, is playing somewhat coy with his future list, saying, “I do not have any top schools and people that say that are just guessing. I like those schools, each is a good school, but I have not narrowed my list down yet.” The 6-foot-4, 325-pounder -- Rivals No. 53 overall prospect for the 2018 cycle -- plans on making his final decision after he wraps up his senior season at Houston County High (Georgia).

Uncommitted four-star 2018 G Trey Hill is hoping to make summer visits to LSU, USC and Ohio State.
Hill (6'4/325) is still sorting through a number of offers and has seen plenty of heat during the recruiting process. In addition to LSU, USC and Ohio State, he tagged Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Auburn and Alabama as programs which have shown him a lot of love this offseason. Scout.com’s No. 53 overall prospect is taking part in The Opening in Beaverton, Oregon, this weekend.

Four-star G Trey Hill announced his verbal commitment to play at Georgia Monday.
Hill (6'4/346) chose to attend Georgia over Auburn, Florida and Florida State. He’s ranked the top guard prospect in the country by ESPN, and second by 247 Sports. He clearly has the size to be a powerful run blocker, but scouting reports also dictate that he’s a capable pass blocker and offers a “strong punch.” He’s another impressive commit for one of the top classes in the country.

Uncommitted four-star 218 G Trey Hill will announce his pledge on Dec. 11.
Hill (6'4/325) will be deciding between Auburn, Florida, Florida State and Georgia come Monday. Coaches from the Tigers, Seminoles and Bulldogs have all visited him over the past week to make their final pitches for Rivals’ No. 73 overall prospect in the class. He’ll be inking up on the dotted line come Dec. 20, the first day of the new early signing period. 247Sports notes that the Warner Robins, Georgia, native “can really bend for his size” and “moves well.” He’s a mauler in the trenches, but the outlet notes that he’ll need to watch his weight over the course of his collegiate career.
