Chiefs signed OL Tre’ Stallings from their practice squad.
The Chiefs are potentially thin on the offensive line due to OTs Kyle Turley (foot and back) and Damion McIntosh (knee) being game-time decisions.
  • DET Wide Receiver
Chiefs waived WR Bobby Sippio, T Will Svitek, G Tre’ Stallings, G Rob Smith, LB Lerue Rumph, and FB Chris Manderino.
All members of the Chiefs’ final cuts lists are candidates for AFL2.
  • Chiefs agreed to terms on a three-year contract with sixth-round G Tre’ Stallings.
He’ll learn from two of the best guards in football as a rookie. Stallings went to school at Ole Miss.
  • BAL Wide Receiver
Ravens signed WR Justin Harper, OG Brian Johnson, RB Matt Lawrence, DE Bryan Mattison, CB Anwar Phillips, OL Joe Reitz, TE Isaac Smolko, OL Tre’ Stallings, WR Ernie Wheelwright, and WR Edward Williams to futures contracts.
Mattison is new defensive coordinator Greg Mattison’s son. He played college ball at Iowa. Harper was Baltimore’s seventh-round pick in 2008.
  • John Welbourn is expected to be Kansas City’s right guard this season.
Chris Bober, Rudy Niswanger, and Tre’ Stallings are other uninspiring candidates. Welbourn has the most experience and biggest price tag.
