Panthers released guards Travis Claridge, Mike Houghton and Kualana Noa, defensive tackle Jordan Carstens, cornerback, Marcus Flod, tackles Melvin Tutten and Javiar Collins, quarterbacks Rod Rutherford and and Rob Adamson, running back Joey Harris, wide receivers Scoot McCready and Jon Olinger, linebacker Sean Tufts and long snapper Adam Johnson.
Rutherford’s release means Rodney Peete will make the Carolina roster. Rutherford could end up on Carolina’s practice squad.
