    Rams waived WR Travis Brown.
The former undrafted free agent lasted just over two months on the offseason roster. Brown was injured at St. Louis’ initial pre-draft minicamp.

Rams waived WRs Travis Brown and Horace Gant, and DT Willie Williams.
Brown has been injured each of the last two offseasons. Williams became expendable when Hollis Thomas signed. Gant isn’t related to the ex-Chicago Bull.

Rams WR Travis Brown suffered a cracked fibula on Friday.
Brown is out indefinitely. He was already a long shot to make the team as a fifth receiver/special teamer.
  • LAR Wide Receiver
Bengals waived WR Travis Brown with an injury settlement.
Brown, an undrafted rookie, was buried on the depth chart.

Bengals claimed undrafted WR Travis Brown off waivers from the Seahawks.
Brown was signed by Seattle April 29 and waived Monday. He was a first-team all-Mountain West Conference pick his junior and senior seasons. Nebraska wideout Maurice Purify is also expected to sign with the Bengals.

    Rams re-signed WR Travis Brown.
Brown has bounced around since going undrafted in 2008. While he offers intriguing size (6'3/202), ran a sub-4.4 at his Pro Day, and was productive as a Lobo, there’s little reason to believe he’s more than practice fodder.
  • TB Wide Receiver
Rams signed WR Joel Filani, DE C.J. Ah You, DT Willie Williams, and WRs Travis Brown, Matt Caddell, and Nate Jones to futures contracts.
Of this group, Ah You is the best bet to make the Rams’ 2009 roster. St. Louis is going to lose La’Roi Glover and Leonard Little could be an offseason cap casualty. The rest of these guys are practice dummies for the spring.
