Procter, a backup interior lineman, signed his non-guaranteed restricted free agent tender last month so that he could be trade bait during draft weekend. But the Cowboys found no takers, so they let him go. Montrae Holland and Travis Bright are candidates to back up Andre Gurode at center now.

Donaldson, who went undrafted in 2009, will try to hang on as Dallas’ No. 4 back behind Felix Jones, Marion Barber, and Tashard Choice. He’s a long shot for the 2010 roster. Woods will get a good look as a special teamer.

The undrafted rookie out of BYU has great size (6'4/320). The Cowboys have told Bright that they would like him on the practice squad if he clears waivers.
