No breaks were indicated, but Collins may be sidelined for awhile with a sore hand. QB Damon Huard will move up to No. 2 on the depth charts.

According to the police, Collins struck a security officer on the back of the head while standing on top of a stero. He was uncooperative until threatened with a taser. Collins is the fifth Chief to have a run-in with the law this week.

Collins’ first throw was rudely intercepted by Bengals DT John Thornton on an attempted screen pass, then Collins was called for grounding in the end zone on his second series, resulting in a safety for Cincinnati. He finished 6-of-13 for 68 yards, the interception, and a fumble.

Collins could not have looked much worse. Combined with Jason Campbell’s solid performance, the Redskins should give Campbell a chance to take over the backup job.

Trent Green is expected to be back at practice Friday and is expected to start.

None of these guys have much Fantasy appeal. Coach Dick Vermeil said he would split the Chiefs carries between Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson.

Mark Brunell, his competition for the backup job, was just 5-of-12 for 56 yards with an interception.

The UTEP alum should push veteran Todd Collins off the roster and make the ‘Skins as an emergency QB behind Jason Campbell and Mark Brunell. Palmer, who is Carson’s brother, gets an excellent QB tutor in Al Saunders.
