  • DET Defensive Lineman
Colts agreed to terms with fourth-round DT Terrance Taylor on a four-year contract.
Taylor, a 320-pound two-gapper from Michigan, will rotate with fellow rookie Fili Moala, Keyunta Dawson, Eric Foster, and Raheem Brock. The Colts have a lot more size on the defensive line than they ever did under Tony Dungy.
  • DET Defensive Lineman
Colts selected Michigan DT Terrance Taylor with the No. 136 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
The Colts won’t admit it, but they’re moving away from Cover 2. Tony Dungy never would’ve considered Taylor. A pure nose guard with no pass-rush ability, Taylor does bring much needed size along with second-round pick Fili Moala. Taylor will never be more than a two-down player, though.
  • FA Tight End #87
Lions signed TE Dan Gronkowski, DT Terrance Taylor, CB Jahi Word-Daniels, OG Kurt Quarterman, DE Robert Henderson, WRs Michael Ray Garvin and Kole Heckendorf and DBs Jonathan Hefney and Paul Pratt to reserve/futures contracts.
Gronkowski was a seventh-round pick who spent three weeks on the active roster in December. Taylor, the Colts’ fourth-round pick last season, floated around the league before landing in Detroit.
  • DET Defensive Lineman
    Lions waived DT Terrance Taylor.
Taylor didn’t make the Colts out of training camp last year after they made him a fourth-round pick. He possesses no ability to push the pocket.
