Tank Bigsby rushed 14 times for 39 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars’ Week 18 loss to the Colts.
Bigsby entered 2024 off the heels of a nightmare rookie season. He averaged 2.4 yards per carry, struggled with ball security, and somehow managed to tip not one but two passes into defenders’ hands for interceptions. Coming off one of the worst debut seasons in recent memory, expectations were low for Bigsby this year. That worked in his favor as he looked like an entirely different player out of the gate. Bigsby quickly forced a committee with Etienne through a handful long runs. He had multiple gains of over 50 yards in the first five weeks and then got a chance to show his stuff as the lead back when Etienne injured his hamstring. Bigsby ran 44 times for 196 yards and two scores in a pair of spot starts. He spent the second half of the season splitting work with Etienne. Fumbles were still an issue as he put the ball on the ground four times. Bigsby was also absent from the passing game in most weeks. Still, he finished the year with a 168/766/7 rushing line, which is a remarkable turnaround from his rookie year. Bigsby will be a popular breakout candidate in early fantasy drafts.

Tank Bigsby rushed 11 times for 33 yards in the Jaguars’ Week 17 win over the Titans.
Bigsby rotated with Travis Etienne all day, coming in on the Jaguars’ first drive and getting a couple of red zone carries as well. He has been splitting touches with Etienne in the backfield for much of the season and got the smaller share against the Titans. Bigsby’s longest run went for seven yards as he totaled 33 rush yards and did not catch his only target. He is a low-ceiling FLEX play against the Colts for any Week 18 fantasy matchups.

Tahk Bigsby rushed 12 times for 50 yards with a touchdown and a lost fumble in the Jaguars’ Week 16 loss to the Raiders.
Bigsby plunged in from a yard away for his sixth rushing touchdown of the campaign. He outcarried Travis Etienne 12-9 in the contest, and he was the far more effective tailback with Etienne rushing for all of 22 yards. Unfortunately the lost fumble hurts fantasy managers, but it’s at least a little encouraging to see a solid 4.8 YPC and the score. Bigsby is a FLEX play for Week 17 against the Titans.

Tank Bigsby rushed 11 times for 42 yards in the Jaguars’ Week 15 loss to the Jets.
Bigsby also had a horrific fumble that ended up not going in the books thanks to a Jets penalty. Although Bigsby was out-touched “just” 18-11 by Travis Etienne, Etienne seemed to be on the field for far more snaps. It wasn’t a game script sniping, as the Jags kept this one close throughout. The Jags, who seem to be making it up as they go along in the backfield, just decided Etienne was the better option today. Favorable game script should await again in Week 16 against the Raiders, but Bigsby isn’t showing enough to be taken seriously as a FLEX.

Tank Bigsby rushed 18 times for 55 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars’ Week 14 win over the Titans, adding one catch for seven yards.
Bigsby shared a backfield rotation with Travis Etienne, getting the bulk of the carries while Etienne saw the greater pass-catching usage. He didn’t break a big run with an inefficient 3.1 yards per carry, but ran hard through defenders all game. Bigsby’s touchdown run saw him stiff-arm a Titans defender on an eight-yard scamper to give the Jaguars the lead and eventual win. With Bigsby’s usage picking back up, the Jaguars backfield is a split. Bigsby is an RB3 play for Week 15 against the Jets.

Tank Bigsby rushed seven times for 28 yards in Jacksonville’s Week 13 loss to the Texans.
He added one catch for seven yards. The Jaguars split the snaps roughly evenly, with Bigsby finding 32 snaps to Travis Etienne Jr.'s 37, but Etienne Jr. was more trusted in pass protection and Bigsby lost the carry battle due to extreme negative game scripts. Bigsby will be a RB3/FLEX play against the Titans in Week 14.

Tank Bigsby (ankle) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 13 against the Texans.
Bigsby practiced in full throughout the week and shouldn’t have any limitations versus the Texans. He has been far more explosive on the ground compared to Travis Etienne this year, but the latter plays on passing downs. With the Jags entering the weekend as considerable underdogs to Houston, that role is crucial for maintaining a fantasy floor. Without it, Bigsby is a high-risk RB3 for Week 13.

Tank Bigsby (ankle) practiced in full on Wednesday.
It’s a great start for his chances of playing against the Texans in Week 13. Doug Pederson said he’d be “full go” in practice earlier and the report proved him prophetic. Bigsby will likely remain in some sort of committee with Travis Etienne Jr. in Week 13, but he’s run so well this year that it’s hard to believe he won’t produce RB2-caliber numbers even despite the split role.

Tank Bigsby (ankle) will not play in Week 11 against the Lions.
Head coach Doug Pederson told reporters Bigsby would attempt to practice on Friday. The second-year back couldn’t even muster a limited participant designation and was ruled out after receiving his third straight DNP. He will look to get back on the field after Jacksonville’s Week 12 bye. Travis Etienne will see the bulk of the touches in his absence, putting him back in the RB2 ranks for a week.

Tank Bigsby (ankle) was not spotted at Thursday’s practice.
That makes two straight DNPs for Bigsby to open the week. The second-year back was limited in practice all of last week but ultimately played through his ankle injury. As things stand right now, his Week 11 availability is very much up in the air, but that can change if he can get on the field Friday. Even if he’s active, Bigsby will be hard to trust as anything more than a dart throw after seeing only two carries in last week’s loss to the Vikings.
