Falcons T Kaleb McGary (knee) is out for Week 4 against the Saints.
McGary had a chance to suit up this week but the team opted to hold him out after testing his injured knee out on Friday. Backup T Storm Norton is expected to start in McGary’s stead.
  • ATL Wide Receiver #12
Falcons agreed to terms with WR KhaDarel Hodge.
Hodge has spent the last two years with the Falcons, totaling 27 receptions for 434 yards and one touchdown over that span. The veteran receiver is little more than a depth signing at this point and may need to compete for a spot on the 53-man roster in training camp. In addition to Hodge, the Falcons also re-signed offensive lineman Storm Norton, who has started 21 games in his five-year career.
  • ATL Offensive Lineman #77
Saints signed T Storm Norton, formerly of the Chargers, to a one-year contract.
Norton, one of the worst tackles in the league in 2020 and 2021, was not given much of a chance to damage the Chargers as Foster Sarell took snaps over him for most of 2022. He profiles as depth in New Orleans.

  • ATL Offensive Lineman #77
    Chargers re-signed RT Storm Norton.
The Chargers officially extended a tender offer to Norton, but since he is an exclusive rights free agent, he has to sign the offer if he wants to remain in the league. Norton ended up starting 15 games at right tackle last season, but he is better suited to a reserve role.

  • DAL Middle Linebacker #59
Chargers placed LB Kenneth Murray on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Offensive tackle Storm Norton was also added to the list. Murray rolled his ankle early in the year and has returned to a rotational role in the past six games. He has seven combined tackles and one TFL in that span. Norton is the Chargers’ starting right tackle.

  • ATL Offensive Lineman #77
Chargers signed OT Storm Norton to a two-year contract.
Norton fell out of the league in 2018. He’ll get another shot after showing well in the XFL. Norton joins Trent Scott, Trey Pipkins, and Cole Toner as backup options behind Bryan Bulaga and Sam Tevi.
