Jaguars re-signed RB Snoop Conner to the practice squad.
Conner cleared waivers which allowed the team to add him to their practice squad. There is a chance Conner could be back up with the big club at some point this season but it would likely take an injury to Travis Etienne, Tank Bigsby, JaMycal Hasty, or D’Ernest Johnson - all of whom were kept on the active roster over Conner.

    Jaguars waived RB Snoop Conner.
The Jaguars added running back Tank Bigsby to the room this offseason, along with veterans JaMychal Hasty and D’Ernest Johnson. Facing an uphill battle for touches, Conner will now have a chance to pass through waivers and be claimed by another team. He rushed 12 times for 42 yards and one touchdown last season. In addition to Conner, the Jaguars also waived/released LS Tucker Addington, WR Kevin Austin, S Latavious Brini, LB D.J. Coleman, OL Coy Cronk, DL De’Shaan Dixon, CB Erick Hallett, WR Jacob Harris, CB Kaleb Hayes, LB Dequan Jackson, WR Oliver Martin, K James McCourt, S Ayo Oyelola, TE Derek Parish, TE Josh Pederson TE Gerrit Prince, WR Kendric Pryor, QB Nathan Rourke, LB Jordan Smith, LB Willie Taylor, DL Raymond Vohasek, OL Darryl Williams, WR Seth Williams, CB Divaad Wilson, WR Jaray Jenkins, OL Chandler Brewer, CB Tevaughn Campbell, DL Michael Dogbe, OL Bobby Evans, RB Qadree Ollison, LB Ventrell Miller, and OL Josh Wells.

Snoop Conner had three rushes for 11 yards in the Jaguars’ Week 12 win against the Ravens.
Conner was well behind JaMycal Hasty in the backfield pecking order following Travis Etienne’s foot injury. Conner has a long path to fantasy relevance with Darrell Henderson likely to be active in Week 13 against Detroit.

Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said RB JaMycal Hasty will see more carries.
Pederson added that Travis Etienne’s role in the Jaguars backfield would not change after James Robinson was dealt to the Jets on Monday. Etienne, who has seen 42 percent of the team’s carries and 12 percent of the team’s targets over the past three weeks, should function as a locked-in RB2 option with Robinson gone. It’s clear, however, that Hasty is ahead of Snoop Conner in the Jacksonville backfield pecking order, and would likely be the Jaguars’ lead back should Etienne miss time. Hasty is a smart bench stash.

Jaguars declared RB Snoop Conner, WR Kendric Pryor, S Daniel Thomas, CB Montaric Brown and OLB De’Shaan Dixon inactive for Week 2 against the Colts.
The Jags are shockingly healthy, listing zero players on their Week 2 injury report. That simply does not happen. Yet to be a part of the 46-man game-day roster this season, fifth-round rookie Conner would need injury in front of him to come on the re-draft radar as the junior member of a committee.

Jaguars declared RB Snoop Conner, S Daniel Thomas, WR Kendric Prior, CB Montaric Brown and OLD De’Shaan Dixon inactive for Week 1 against the Commanders.
Nothing surprising here. Running backs Travis Etienne and James Robinson should both see a decent amount of opportunities in what should be a soggy matchup against the Commanders.

Jaguars traded up with the Eagles to select Ole Miss RB Snoop Conner with the No. 154 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
The Jags surrendered picks No. 188 and 198 for the right to move up 34 spots. Conner (5'10/222) never touched the ball more than 150 times in a season in Oxford, but he amassed a 304-1,580-26 rushing line and 32 catches for 225 yards across three campaigns. He did not shine bright at the Combine, posting a 4.59 40, 9-foot-10 broad jump, and 29.5-inch vertical jump, though he did put up 25 reps on the bench. That testing is pretty indicative of the type of player Conner is. He is not particularly explosive, is not going to make a lot of people miss, and is not likely to create a ton of chunk gains. He is big, strong, and effective in short-yardage situations. That will be his path to playing time, potentially setting up a situation where he is fantasy viable in the right situation, but he is more likely to top out as a depth option. With a returning Travis Etienne and rehabbing James Robinson (Achilles), the Jags are primed to run out a backfield committee in 2022.

Ole Miss junior RB Snoop Conner has declared for the NFL Draft.
Conner (5'10"/215) scored 13 rushing touchdowns this season, and his 651 yards ranked second on the team to Jerrion Ealy. Conner’s power running style saw him really dominate against Arkansas and Louisiana State but his lack of receiving potential may limit his draft stock. WalterFootball did not rank Conner in their top 30 RBs.

Ole Miss sophomore RB Snoop Conner rushed 14 times for 117 yards in a 31-17 victory over LSU on Saturday.
Conner (5'10/215) led the Ole Miss backfield trio in both carries and yardage on the day, with the group receiving 36 carries between them for a robust 246 yards and two touchdowns. Conner was most effective between the tackles, lowering his shoulder when he hit the second level behind a strong blocking performance by the Mississippi offensive line who blew holes open all game long. The Rebels’ dominant ground game made up for a rather understated passing attack that posted 204 yards, as HC Lane Kiffin chose to bludgeon the LSU defense as opposed to carve it up. Mississippi travels to play Auburn next Saturday, who is coming off a bye.

  • FA Running Back #32
Ole Miss sophomore RB Snoop Conner rushed for 24 yards on 15 carries and two touchdowns in Saturday’s 31-26 win over Tennessee.
Matt Corral pretty much ran the show for Ole Miss today from the air and ground, but he relied on Conner (5'10/215) to get down and dirty in the trenches. Conner set the tone early in this game for the Rebels. The offensive line was easily able to overpower Tennessee to allow Connors in for both of his one-yard touchdowns coming the first and the second quarter. Ole Miss is back on track after the loss to Alabama. They both have one loss in the SEC West, but Bama holds the tiebreaker. Ole Miss will host LSU next week.
