Cowboys released WR/KR Skyler Green.
Coach Bill Parcells’ favorite “fat boy” couldn’t quite handle the punt return duties in Dallas. He might get another shot from someone else, but Green doesn’t bring much receiving ability to the table.

Second-year player Skyler Green could push Antonio Chatman to be the Bengals’ punt returner during training camp.
The Bengals probably wouldn’t mind letting Chatman loose if Green shows consistency. The two may be battling for the team’s fifth and final WR spot.

Saints signed WR Skyler Green, DE Josh Savage, TE Buck Ortega, CB Anwar Phillips, and G Tim Duckworth to reserve/future contracts.
Green was Dallas’ fourth-round pick in 2006, but has done little so far in his career. The rest of the players had been on New Orleans’ practice squad.

Saints waived WR Adrian Arrington, KR Skyler Green, RB P.J. Hill, TE Martrez Milner, DT DeMario Pressley, WR Courtney Roby, and LB Anthony Waters.
Waters lost out to undrafted free agent Jonathan Casillas. Arrington is an exciting practice player when healthy, but missed most of camp with a Grade 2 tear of his hamstring. He has practice squad eligibility left.

Saints waived WR/PR Skyler Green, DL Orien Harris, OL Tim Duckworth, LB Jo-Lonn Dunbar, RB Lynell Hamilton, LB Will Kershaw, and WR Joe West.
They’re keeping Jason David on the roster, which Saints fans can’t like. Harris played well in camp and could be back if he goes unclaimed.

Cowboys agreed to terms with fourth-round WR Skyler Green on a four-year contract.
Green quickly became Bill Parcells’ favorite player in minicamps after showing up looking like “a fat boy.” An LSU product, Green is undersized but should help on returns right away and be a Dave Meggett type down the road.

Cowboys signed KR Skyler Green to the practice squad.
A fourth-round pick who was waived last week, Green is now reportedly working at running back instead of wide receiver. If he makes an impact at some point, it’ll likely be returning kicks.
