    Raiders signed RB Damien Williams.
Williams beat out ex-Texans RB Rex Burkhead after both backs visited the team last week. The Raiders adding Williams suggests they don’t expect unsigned franchise RB Josh Jacobs to report anytime soon. Williams was limited to one game before getting released from Atlanta last year and is a longshot for the Week 1 roster.

NBC’s Mike Florio reports the Chiefs and Broncos are among the teams interested in Raiders RB Josh Jacobs.
Jacobs turned down a $12 million offer from the Raiders last month. There are rumors the Raiders could rescind the franchise tender if they don’t trade Jacobs, making him a free agent and taking $10 million off the cap. With the sides not close on a long-term deal, a trade may end up the most likely outcome for last year’s rushing champ.

Raiders signed UTSA RB Sincere McCormick.
McCormick (5'8/205) had an extremely productive three-year career, rushing for nearly 1,500 yards each of the last two seasons and finishing with a 724/3,929/34 line on the ground and 66/509/1 line as a receiver. McCormick did not have the best Combine, logging a 4.6 forty with a 33.5-inch vertical and a 9-foot-8 broad jump. Short but not small, McCormick has good balance and the power to work through arm tackles, and he has proven he can handle a full workload. He also runs away from more defensive backs than expected given his timed speed. He is not big, particularly explosive, or particularly fast, but McCormick has a history of production that is hard to ignore.

The rusher, named First-Team All-CUSA in 2021, had his official combine measurements released from Indianapolis this week: 5-foot-8.5, 205 pounds, 29 7/8" arms and 9 1/8" hands. That’s a slight deviation overall from what he was listed at this past season.

UTSA junior RB Sincere McCormick was named First Team All-Conference USA on Tuesday.
McCormick (5'9/200) led the conference in rushing last season with 1,479 yards, and was second in rushing touchdowns with 15. In the C-USA championship game against Western Kentucky, McCormick rushed 36 times for 204 yards and three touchdowns, which included a 65-yard touchdown in the second quarter. McCormick is a physical runner who forced 46 missed tackles last season per Pro Football Focus, and reeled off 15 breakaway runs (runs of 15+ yards) on the year, while also going for 10+ yards on 31 carries. McCormick and the Roadrunners draw a tough bowl matchup against a San Diego State defense that allowed the second-fewest rushing yards per game in 2021 (77.7).

McCormick (5'9/200) spent the majority of his night refusing to go down, as he gashed the Hilltoppers for 204 yards (5.7 yards per carry) while scoring on rushes of two, 17 and 65 yards. His 65-yard touchdown run marked his second touchdown of the day, and put Western Kentucky in some trouble early, as his score gave the Roadrunners an early 28-13 lead in the second quarter. UTSA junior RB Sincere McCormick rushed 12 times for 60 yards in Saturday’s 45-23 loss to North Texas.
McCormick (5'9/200) has been one of UTSA most valuable weapons on offense this season, entering Saturday’s game against North Texas with a rushing line of 251/1,215/12, while adding another 18 receptions for 141 yards. Despite the solid season he’s enjoyed, McCormick was bottled up by the Mean Green all afternoon, totaling just 68 yards from scrimmage, with his longest play of the afternoon coming on a 15-yard run. The entire UTSA offense was out of sync in this one, as they will now look to clean things up ahead of its Conference USA championship game.

UTSA junior RB Sincere McCormick rushed 20 times for 65 yards and one touchdown in Saturday’s 34-31 win over UAB.
McCormick (5'9/200) found the end zone on an eight-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter to tie the game at 14-14 after UAB had gotten out to an early lead thanks to two long touchdown scores. McCormick was largely contained on the ground in this one, never rushing for more than eight yards on any single play, but he did keep the ball moving through the air thanks to five receptions for 65 yards. His touchdown score on the day did keep his scoring streak alive, as he has now found the end zone in four straight games and in seven of 11 contests on the season. McCormick has been UTSA’s bell cow back all season, and now has 1,210 rushing yards on the season to go with 12 touchdowns. He and the Roadrunners will look to keep their undefeated season alive next weekend at North Texas.

UTSA junior RB Sincere McCormick ran 19 times for 90 yards and a touchdown in Saturday’s 27-17 win over Southern Mississippi.
McCormick (5'9/200) is the Roadrunners’ best offensive player as he came into this game with four straight 100+ yard performances. It wouldn’t be McCormick’s best game, but this entire UTSA offense struggled, especially in the first half. The offensive looked out of sync, including McCormick who wasn’t able to pull off any big runs. The 1-8 Eagles stayed competitive throughout this game as it was tied until late in the fourth quarter. The Roadrunners’ defense stepped up and forced some late turnovers that the offense was able to convert into points. One of those came from McCormick as he was able to walk in for the nine-yard touchdown to put UTSA up 10. UTSA (10-0, C-USA 6-0) has a big matchup next week against UAB who is right behind them in the C-USA standings at 5-1.
