Chargers placed WR Simi Fehoko on injured reserve.
The team signed Jalen Reagor to their active roster in a corresponding move. Reagor and DJ Chark will serve as depth options in the Chargers’ receiving rotation. Chark was activated from injured reserve last week but did not suit up on Sunday.

Simi Fehoko caught his only target for a nine-yard touchdown in the Chargers’ Week 8 win over the Bears.
Fehoko saw a fleeting window of additional snaps as Joshua Palmer left the game for one possession after aggravating his knee injury, a drive that culminated in a nine-yard touchdown grab on a crossing route over the middle of the field. He won’t be a fantasy option even if Palmer misses time.

Cowboys designated WR Simi Fehoko to return from injured reserve.
The same is true of rookie LB Devin Harper. Supposedly a training camp standout, Fehoko had caught four balls in five games before going down. If the Cowboys make a return and Fehoko returns, he will either be a game-day inactive or called upon on special teams.

The Athletic’s Jon Machota believes WR Simi Fehoko has been the biggest surprise of Cowboys training camp.
Machota reports that “Fehoko has consistently come up big, particularly in the red zone, using his size and speed to create space on deep balls or make contested catches in traffic.” After logging just 55 total snaps as a rookie, 48 of which came on special teams, Machota believes that Fehoko “looks ready to contribute in Year 2, which the Cowboys desperately need considering how thin they are at the position.” Noah Brown has also stood out at camp, which could make the Cowboys less likely to sign a veteran wide receiver following James Washington’s injury. Both Fehoko and Brown will have opportunities to show what they can do with Michael Gallup (knee) unlikely to play Week 1.

Cowboys placed CB Jourdan Lewis on the reserve/COVID list.
WR Simi Fehoko was also added to the list. Lewis has been solid as Dallas’ primary slot corner this season, so losing him is a bit of a hit to a strong defense. Even so, the Cowboys DST is a prime option this week against Washington.

Cowboys selected Stanford WR Simi Fehoko with the No. 179 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Fehoko set Utah state records with 3,571 receiving yards and 41 receiving touchdowns in his prep career before stepping away for a two-year religious mission and returning to the Pac-12 in 2019. He only made four starts in three years at Stanford but totaled 412 yards in those outings. Having clocked a 4.44 40-yard dash as a 93rd percentile athlete at 6'3/222, Fehoko checks all the boxes of a potential breakout as long as he can get up to speed as a 24-year-old rookie. Fehoko will need to contribute on special teams.

Stanford WR Simi Fehoko ran unofficial 40-yard dash times of 4.37 and 4.39 seconds at his pro day workout this Thursday.
Fehoko is huge at 6-foot-4, 227 pounds, so his 4.37 40-yard dash time is a very impressive number. When asked about his star wideout, Stanford HC David Shaw said “You saw what he was capable of in that last game of the year against UCLA (16-230-3),” Stanford coach David Shaw told NFL Network. "(His speed) is a game-changer in the NFL because of the 5-yard contact rule.” Fehoko is considered to be a bit of a late-bloomer, and he will now look to separate himself in what is a very deep draft when it comes to the wide receiver position. His high end speed is certainly one way to get noticed.

Stanford redshirt sophomore WR Simi Fehoko announced on Monday that he will enter the 2021 NFL Draft.
Fehoko (6'4/227) had himself a productive 2020 campaign, as he caught 37 passes for 574 yards and three touchdowns in just six games. For his efforts, the redshirt sophomore wide receiver was a first team all-conference selection. After catching just one pass during his redshirt year (2018), Fehoko caught 61 passes for 1,140 yards and nine touchdowns the following two seasons. Fehoko is considered to be a bit of a late-bloomer, and he will now look to separate himself in what is a very deep draft when it comes to the wide receiver position.

Stanford redshirt sophomore WR Semi Fehoko caught 16 passes for 230 yards and three touchdowns in a 48-47 double-overtime win over UCLA on Saturday.
Dominant. Fehoko (6'4/227) had a big game against Oregon State the previous week, but this crushes that effort. This crushes most efforts, to be fair. The talented third-year wideout scored all three touchdowns despite not having one with 2:34 left in the fourth quarter. He caught an 11-yarder to bring the Cardinal to within a score at 34-27, and he tied the game with a 21-yard score over the middle with just 18 seconds left in the contest. His final score proved to be the game winner; a 14-yarder that was followed by UCLA failing on a two-point conversion on their possession in the second overtime. Fehoko’s size is awfully intriguing, and if he is back for his redshirt junior campaign, he’ll be among the top targets in the conference.

Stanford redshirt sophomore WR Simi Fehoko caught six passes for 110 yards on Saturday in a 27-24 win over Oregon State.
It’s been sort of a quiet year for Fehoko, if only because expectations were so high after he scored six touchdowns and averaged a whopping 23.6 yards per catch in 2019. The 6-foot-4, 227-pound wideout didn’t come close to matching those numbers in 2020 -- in part because Stanford only played in five games -- but Saturday was a good reminder of his ability to create separation and highpoint the football. Fehoko will be the top target for the Cardinal in 2021, but he should get one more chance to impress in a bowl game this winter.
