Shaun King will remain the starter at quarterback for the Cardinals for the foreseeable future.
Josh McCown did very little impressive in his time as a starter and King has a better arm. While he turned the ball over three times, King did move the ball decently. He’s a below average QB2.
  • IND Quarterback
    Colts signed QB Shaun King.
It looks like Lions coach Rod Marinelli did his old buddy Tony Dungy a favor by cutting King, their old Bucs QB. The greatest Tulane quarterback of all time will probably be the Colts’ No. 3 quarterback and help take practice snaps while backup Jim Sorgi gets healthy.
  • IND Quarterback
Shaun King will battle for the Colts No. 3 quarterback position.
King, signed Friday after being cut by the Lions in late May, will compete with undrafted rookies David Koral and Josh Betts behind Payton Manning and injured top sub Jim Sorgi.
  • IND Quarterback
    Lions released Shaun King.
King was signed before Josh McCown and Jon Kitna as an insurance policy-type backup in the event the free agency period didn’t go well. With Dan Orlovsky playing well, it was clear King wouldn’t make the roster. The former Tulane second-rounder last started for the Cardinals in 2004.
  • IND Quarterback
Shaun King replaced Josh McCown late in the Cardinals/Falcons game today.
The Tulane product completed 5-of-6 for 40 yards. He could very well take over the starting job, but has minimal fantasy upside.
  • IND Quarterback
Shaun King threw for 343 yards today, but the Cardinals were still crushed by the Panthers.
Most of the yards came in the second half while the Panthers were up big, and King wasn’t able to get much of a rally going because he was picked off three times. He’ll probably remain the starter, but he didn’t help himself today.
  • IND Quarterback
Shaun King will start today for the Arizona Cardinals.
King who hasn’t started in over two years, gets the nod against a dreadful Panthers defense. He is a decent play this week.
  • IND Quarterback
Shaun King was pulled after completing 14-of-26 passes for 119 yards and an interception
Josh McCown was even worse in relief. Now what? The Arizona QBs are hurting the fantasy shine of Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald.
  • IND Quarterback
Shaun King won’t start for the Cardinals this week.
King put up similar stats to Josh McCown in his two starts. Now rookie John Navarre will get a shot.
  • IND Quarterback
After working out for the Patriots last week, QB Shaun King reportedly has a tryout scheduled with the Lions today.
It’s unlikely that a QB has ever tried out for a team at a better time than King working out for Detroit after Joey Harrington’s performance Sunday.
