Eagles signed WR Joseph Ngata and 19 others to reserve/futures deals.
Ngata and many others spent the 2023 season on the Eagles’ practice squad, so the team will keep them around for the offseason. The 6'3" Ngata was a five-star recruit when he committed to Clemson, but he has never quite been able to build on that early-career hype. He’ll have another offseason to try and figure it out. The other 19 players signed to reserve/future deals were: DT Thomas Booker, T Le’Raven Clark, WR Shaquan Davis, DT Noah Elliss, DB Mekhi Garner, DB Mario Goodrich, WR Jacob Harris, WR Griffin Hebert, DE Tarron Jackson, TE E.J. Jenkins, LB Terrell Lewis, DB Tristin McCollum, DB Tiawan Mullen, RB Lew Nichols, G Jason Poe, LB Brandon Smith, C Lecitus Smith, T Brett Toth, and WR Austin Watkins.

South Carolina State redshirt sophomore WR Shaquan Davis caught five passes for 95 yards and three touchdowns in Saturday’s 31-10 win over Jackson State.
Davis (6'5/180) accounted for nearly all of South Carolina State’s offense, as he was responsible for three of the team’s four touchdowns on the afternoon. Davis and quarterback Corey Fields Jr. connected in the second quarter on a six-yard touchdown pass to tie the game at 7-7, and linked up again on two 16-yard touchdown passes in the third and fourth quarter to put the game out of reach for Jackson State. Davis’ 2021 season ends with 38 receptions for 747 yards and eight touchdowns.
