  • PIT Wide Receiver #13
Bucs selected Bowling Green WR Scott Miller with the No. 208 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
You can’t help but think the Bucs see some Adam Humphries in Miller. The receiver posted a reported 4.36 forty at the school’s pro day and a 4.02 short shuttle. Miller posted at least 60 catches in each of the last three seasons and eclipsed 1,100 receiving yards in 2018. With giants Mike Evans and Chris Godwin on the roster, maybe Miller can carve up something in the slot.

Bowling Green senior WR Scott Miller registered four receptions for 115 yards and two touchdowns in Friday’s 44-14 loss against Buffalo.
Miller caught touchdown passes from both QB Jarret Doege and RB Grant Loy in this one. The connection of Doege and Miller was nice, but now the receiver will be moving along. It was a nice way for Miller to put a bow on his collegiate career, as he finished with 71 grabs, 1,150 yads and nine touchdowns in his senior season. He might not have the size to draw much attention for the NFL Draft, but it wouldn’t be shocking to see the little man with big heart get a shot as an undrafted free agent at the next level.

Bowling Green senior WR Scott Miller brought in six passes for 145 yards and a score in a 49-14 loss to Ohio on Saturday.
Miller keeps putting up big numbers, the Falcons keep losing because their defense can’t stop anyone. His score came with just under a minute to play in the first quarter, a 57-yard connection with Jared Doege to give Bowling Green a 7-0 lead. The 5-foot-11, 186-pound senior has scored in three straight games, and he’s picked up 100-plus yards in three-of-four. The 1-6 Falcons will take on Kent State on October 30.

Bowling Green senior WR Scott Miller caught eight passes for 206 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday’s 42-35 loss to Western Michigan.
Miller (5'11/186) notched a 76-yard touchdown grab with nine minutes to go before halftime, then came back around for an additional nine-yard scoring catch to open the fourth quarter. This huge performance marked his third game of double-digit catches combined with 100-plus receiving yards. He’ll bring a 42-640-6 receiving line into action against Ohio next Saturday. Miller has yet to register a 1,000-yard season, but will be in play for that mark at campaign’s end so long as he can more-or-less keep up his current rate of production.

Bowling Green senior WR Scott Miller hauled in 10 passes for 117 yards in a 63-17 loss to Georgia Tech on Saturday.
Miller (5'11/186) was excellent -- again -- for the Falcons, and was the only reason this game was close for a while. Relatively close, anyway. It’s the second double-digit catch effort of the year for the senior wideout, but it’s the second straight game he hasn’t found the end zone. He’ll look to repeat the former while stopping the latter when the Falcons take on Toledo next Saturday.

Bowling Green senior WR Scott Miller (hamstring) is warming up for Saturday’s game against Miami (Ohio).
This was expected after Miller was a “full go” this week during practice. He sat out last week after being knocked out of their Week 2 game against Maryland. Prior to his injury, Miller was on a roll with a 13-166-2 explosion in Week 1 against Oregon. He will likely play a big role going going forward.

Bowling Green senior WR Scott Miller (hamstring) practiced on Tuesday.
Miller was a “full go,” per beat writer Thomas Schmeltz, but his reps were limited. Miller was knocked out of the Week 2 game against Maryland with the injury and missed last week’s contest against Eastern Kentucky. We’ll be monitoring his status closely in advance of Saturday’s game against Miami (OH).

Bowling Green freshman WR Scott Miller caught 11 passes for 178 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday’s 40-26 loss to Miami (OH).
Miller opened the scoring in impressive fashion, logging a 72-yard touchdown catch with 10:26 remaining in the first quarter. The 5-foot-10, 162-pound freshman would go on to score another touchdown -- this one from a more modest 28 yards out -- midway through the third quarter. This was Miller’s fourth 100-yard game through eight contests. Overall, he is working to a 58-798-9 receiving line. He has racked up 145 or more yards in three of his last four games.

Bowling Green HC Mike Jinks called junior WR Scott Miller “as explosive as anybody in the conference.”
“He’s going to be a dynamic weapon, and I expect big things out of him this year,” Jinks said. This past season, the 5-foot-10, 162-pounder earned All-MAC first-team honors on the strength of a 74-968-10 receiving line. He turned in two games with double-digit receptions and four with at least 145 yards receiving. “This spring went really well for me and our team,” Miller said. “Personally, I came into the spring with a lot of confidence coming off of last season.”

Bowling Green senior WR Scott Miller left Saturday’s game against Maryland with an undisclosed injury.
Miller pulled up mid route on a deep ball thrown by Jarret Doege and had to be helped off the field with two trainers. Before going down, the senior wide receiver scored a touchdown on one of his three receptions. Maryland was winning 24-14 when Miller left. If this is an injury that forces Miller to miss games, it will be a huge loss for the Falcons. In the opener, Miller caught 13 passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns against Oregon.
