Womack III

Per 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan, Womack suffered an MCL injury in Week 1. He won’t need surgery but will miss at least the next four games while on injured reserve. Womack pitched in a handful of snaps at cornerback every week as a rookie in 2022 while also being a core contributor on special teams.

Womack (5'9"/189) was a prep superstar who nevertheless focused on basketball, limiting his FBS offers. That, and the fact that he was a 5-foot-9 receiver.
