Seahawks acquired DT Roy Robertson-Harris from the Jaguars in exchange for a late-round pick in 2026.
Robertson-Harris has totaled seven tackles and two sacks for the Jags this season and is in the second year of a three-year extension he signed with them last offseason. A former UDFA from the 2016 draft class, Robertson-Harris has carved out a solid career for himself. He’s totaled 11.5 sacks in his four seasons with the Jaguars and should provide an immediate boost to a Seahawks defense that’s hit a rough stretch since their 3-0 start to the season. In their last three games, the Seahawks have allowed 430.7 yards per game and 35.7 points per game.

Jaguars extended DT Roy Robertson-Harris to a three-year, $30 million extension.
Despite the dollars, this likely will knock some cap space off the Jaguars books this upcoming season. Robertson-Harris was due to have a $10.1 million cap figure in 2023. Robertson-Harris has three sacks in each of the last two seasons while starting the majority of Jacksonville’s games in the interior of the defense. He should continue to provide splash plays inside in 2023.

Jaguars signed DT Roy Robertson-Harris, formerly of the Bears, to a three-year, $24.4 million contract.
He gets $14 million guaranteed. Robertson-Harris will turn 28 in July. He missed half the season last year after requiring shoulder surgery. Prior to going down, he failed to register a sack. Robertson-Harris was one of the rising stars in the middle of the Chicago defense headed into 2020 after tallying 7.5 sacks the previous three seasons. He slides in next to Taven Bryan and 2020 third-rounder Davon Hamilton in the middle of the Jaguars’ defensive line.

Bears DT Roy Robertson-Harris is undergoing season-ending shoulder surgery.
The 27-year-old missed Week 9 against the Titans after going down in Week 8. After managing 7.5 sacks as a disruptive interior rotational player the previous three seasons, Robertson-Harris failed to record a sack through eight 2020 games while playing 39% of the snaps. He’s scheduled to be a free agent next offseason.

Bears DL Roy Robertson-Harris officially signed his second-round tender.
Roy Robertson-Harris has appeared in 44 games over the past three seasons with the Bears, most recently being called upon for a career-high seven starts in 2019. With 30 tackles, 2.5 sacks and three pass breakups last year, the former UDFA figures to play more off the bench all the while keeping his role on special teams this upcoming season.

Bears placed a second-round tender on restricted free agent DL Roy Robertson-Harris.
Robertson-Harris made a career high seven starts last year, helping lead Chicago to a top-10 run defense while adding 2.5 sacks. The second-round tender should be enough to chase off interested teams. A 2016 UDFA, Robertson-Harris will enter unrestricted free agency next offseason.

Bears signed UTEP DE/LB Roy Robertson-Harris.
Robertson-Harris (6'6/255) made 33 starts for the UTEP Miners, logging 24 career tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks. He turned in a strong Pro Day workout, running 4.8-flat with a 35-inch vertical and 9-foot-11 broad jump. Lean, long armed, and plenty athletic, Robertson-Harris should’ve been a more dominant college player considering his physical prowess. He’s a ball of clay his NFL coaching staff will try to mold into a useful edge player.
