Tulane junior S Roderic Teamer (foot) will miss Saturday’s game against Oklahoma.
Teamer injured a foot against Navy. Freshman safety Chase Kuerschen, who had eight tackles versus Navy, will start in his place against the Sooners. “He’s a really smart player and played well last week,” HC Willie Fritz said of Kuerschen. “We’re fortunate he got an opportunity to play quite a bit, so he’s got a game under the belt.”
