Coach Bill Parcell says he would have used running back ReShard Lee at running back more if they score warranted it.
Parcells seemed to be saying that Richie Anderson would play in hurry-up situations. The only thing we know about the Dallas backfield right now is that we don’t know. It’s a fantasy sinkhole.

Coach Parcells said ReShard Lee will have a role in the Dallas offense early.
Expect Lee and Richie Anderson to get plenty of carries during the first three quarters on Monday night. We’d guess Eddie George will act something like a “closer” this season.
  • LV Running Back
ReShard Lee will be active on Sunday as one of the Cowboys two kick returners.
That means, if rookie Julius Jones is active, that the Cowboys will roll with four running backs.
  • LV Running Back
Cowboys running back ReShard Lee could be inactive on Thanksgiving.
It depends on whether Richie Anderson can play following a concussion. Either way, Lee is now 4th on the depth chart and has no fantasy upside.
  • HOU Running Back
Raiders agreed to terms with fullback Justin Griffith, formerly of the Falcons, on a three-year, $3.8 million contract.
The Raiders’ backfield is now quite full, and on paper it would appear they’re poised to use a running back by committee. Griffith averaged 5.6 yards-per-carry in 2006 and is a capable receiver, though he’ll be hard pressed to become a factor in fantasy football. This could spell the end of Zack Crockett’s tenure in Oakland and leaves ReShard Lee, Joe Echemandu, and Justin Fargas possibly competing for a roster spot.
  • LV Running Back
Raiders RB ReShard Lee recently underwent arthroscopic knee surgery.
He’s now missing practice time, which won’t help Lee’s chances of making the 53-man roster at an already deep position. Good news for Justin Fargas.
  • LV Running Back
Raiders waived RB ReShard Lee with an injury settlement.
Lee had knee surgery in May and missed most of early camp. The versatile but plodding fullback/tailback hybrid has a decent chance to get picked up.
  • LV Running Back
ReShard Lee rushed once for a one-yard touchdown in Week 12. He also caught a five-yard pass in Oakland’s loss to San Diego.
The Raiders use a running back committee on the goal line. Zack Crockett got the first crack early in the second quarter, gaining two yards down to the one. Then Lee came in and closed the deal. Justin Fargas was not a part of Oakland’s goal-line rotation.
  • LV Running Back
ReShard Lee rushed six times for 42 yards and caught five passes for 57 yards in the Raiders’ Week 13 loss to Houston.
Lee was stripped by C.C. Brown after a 13-yard run in the first quarter and DeMarcus Faggins returned it to the house from 58 yards to put Houston up 7-0 early. It appears Lee will remain a member of Oakland’s committee, however, as he continued to get the ball late in the game.
