  • DEN Cornerback #35
Indiana sophomore DB Reese Taylor will be moving back to the secondary after switching to RB/QB during the 2018 season.
Taylor’s position change last year occurred due to Indiana’s lack of depth in the backfield, and he appeared in all 12 games for the Hoosiers. The sophomore, who was originally moved to running back, served as Indiana’s backup quarterback for the final four games of 2018. With the numbers at those positions being better heading into spring practice, Taylor moving back to the defensive side of the ball for 2019 does not come as a surprise.
  • DEN Cornerback #35
Indiana freshman Reese Taylor is switching positions from cornerback to quarterback.
Indiana needs another quarterback on the roster after Brandon Dawkins decided to leave the program. Considering Taylor was a quarterback in high school, it’s not a surprise that the Hoosiers are having him make the switch. More than likely he’s just a warm body at the position, and don’t be surprised if Taylor switches back to cornerback next year.
