The Ravens are possibly working on long-term contract extensions for Ray Lewis, Todd Heap, and cornerback Gary Baxter
The three players share the same agent, who will meet with the Ravens this weekend. Still, getting Jonathon Ogden signed figures to be Baltimore’s biggest priority.

Ray Lewis hasn’t practiced yet this week for precautionary reasons.
He’s listed as probable with a knee injury. Lewis is tied for sixth in the NFL with 65 sacks.

Ray Lewis (fractured wrist) is expected to play in the Pro Bowl next month.
Lewis’ production really slowed down in the second half. He was not a top five IDP linebacker for the first time in ages.

Ray Lewis is sitting out this week’s Ravens minicamp because of a thumb injury.
He also sat out passing camp last month because of the same injury, but it’s just a precaution.

The NFL has ordered Raiders coach Hue Jackson to sever all ties with “Sports With Alternatives to Steroids” after the company’s website acknowledged that a substance it distributes contains IGF-1 “and other growth factors.”
IGF-1 is already banned by the NFL, and “other growth factors” sounds like a growth hormone. Jackson previously endorsed the company, but stopped doing so last month. “S.W.A.T.S.” owner Mitch Ross claims to have distributed substances to Bengals S Roy Williams, Ravens LB Ray Lewis, and Jets RBs coach Anthony Lynn. Rams LB David Vobora is suing S.W.A.T.S. after allegedly using one of the company’s sprays got him suspended in 2009.

LB Ray Lewis won’t participate in drills this week.
Still rehabbing from December hamstring surgery, Lewis is expected to be ready for training camp. C Mike Flynn (knee) is also out and CB Samari Rolle (elbow) could be limited.

Ray Lewis played in his first game Thursday night against the Eagles since going down with a hamstring injury in week six last season.
Lewis made just one tackle and forced a fumble on the play. “It felt so good because my crowd got energized again. My defense was rejuvenated. It’s just good to be back on the football field.” The 10-year vet remains a quality linebacker option in IDP leagues.

Ray Lewis showed up to Baltimore voluntary workouts this week.
He’s not at full health yet, but it appears Lewis isn’t getting his wish of a trade out of Baltimore.

Ray Lewis confirmed the right shoulder injury he suffered in Sunday’s win over the Cardinals was a mere stinger.
Lewis missed just four plays before getting back on the field. He hasn’t missed a game since 2007 and is on pace for his sixth straight 100-tackle season.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh insisted Monday that MLB Ray Lewis (toe) is “100 percent.”
“He looks great,” Harbaugh said. “Any report to the contrary is absolutely untrue. His toe is 100 percent. Has been for a couple weeks.” Lewis looked rusty down the stretch after returning from a four-week absence in Week 15, but should benefit greatly from the Ravens’ first-round bye. Despite the injury and absence, Lewis graded out as the fifth-best inside linebacker in football this season by Pro Football Focus.
