Zach Sieler was a major contributor to the Dolphins’ 32-26 victory over the Jets in overtime and now he’ been recognized for his performance.
The NFL has named Sieler AFC defensive player of the week.
Sieler finished Sunday’s game with four tackles and 2.0 sacks. Both of Sieler’s sacks came in the fourth quarter.
The veteran defensive lineman has now posted 6.0 sacks with 10 tackles for loss and 13 quarterback hits this season. He’s also registered an interception, forced fumble, and fumble recovery.
This is the first player of the week award of Sieler’s career.
Miami will be on the road to face Houston in Week 15.
