Yale T Kiran Amegadjie will enter 2024 NFL Draft

It’s common to see players announce their intention to enter the NFL Draft as the college season winds down, but those players rarely are making the jump from the Ivy League.

Yale tackle Kiran Amegadjie is an exception, however. Amegadjie announced on Monday that he will be entering the 2024 draft.

Amegadjie played right guard as a freshman and moved to left tackle in 2022. He was an All-Ivy first-team selection, but his 2023 season was cut short by a quad injury that required surgery.

In October, Senior Bowl executive director Jim Nagy said that his staff ranked Amegadjie as the only player below the top division of college football with a chance to be selected on the second day of the draft. The inability to do on-field work leading up to the draft could impact his ultimate spot, but Amegadjie seems likely to hear his name called at some point.
