WR Odell Beckham clears waivers, making him a free agent

Receiver Odell Beckham cleared waivers Monday, making him a free agent.

The Dolphins waived Beckham with a non-injury settlement Friday, and no team claimed him despite it costing only $201,000 in base salary for the rest of the season.

Beckham reportedly has a “short list” of teams for whom he would play, with the goal of landing in the “right situation.” The question is: Will anyone want Beckham?

He made only nine catches for 55 yards in nine games this season with the Dolphins.

In 23 games the past three seasons, Beckham has 44 receptions for 620 yards and three touchdowns. His last 1,000-yard season was 2019, and his last Pro Bowl was 2016.
