The Broncos are on a five-game winning streak and their kicker has been a big part of the reason why.
Now Wil Lutz has been named AFC special teams player of the month for November.
Lutz finished the month 11-of-11 on his field goal attempts, including a game-winning 36-yarder in the wild Week 10 Monday night victory over the Bills (though it’s worth noting he missed from 41 yards before Buffalo bailed him out by having too many men on the field).
Lutz had the most made field goals and the second-most kicking points (36) in the AFC for November.
This is Lutz’s second career special teams player of the month award, as he also earned the honor in Sept. 2018 with the Saints.
